Beautiful work!  I love it!

And just a note for the future, I think knitty's guidelines say you can't have posted a picture of your submission anywhere one the net prior to its going live on their site.
4  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Poster Boy Bag on: January 15, 2005 06:29:32 AM
They're both gorgeous, but I'd go for the second one.

And, yes, I thought Poster Boy was Jim Morrison.

Excellent execution!  I've seen other "yarn" made that way, but I didn't like the results.  Yours looks so great!

How much fabric did you use?

rhythmgrl, I am in LOVE with your colors!  Your sweater is looking beautiful.  Great work!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Loose vs. tight knitting on: December 07, 2004 01:41:41 PM
Yeah, I think knowing whether you are a relatively loose knitter or a relatively tight knitter is only useful when you're deciding what size needles to start with when knitting your gauge swatch.  For example, since I usually knit really loosely, I know if a pattern calls for a size 7US needles, I will start with my 3's and probably get gauge.

It's beautiful!  The one in the book did nothing for me, but I love yours!

That *does* look great!  Do you have any feedback on the pattern?  I will make this for myself after the holidays.  How does the fit feel?  It looks perfect.

Good job!
