I put in the big round bells, and I put in 3 of them as 1 wasn't enough Smiley

These blocks are great for babies and also for using up interesting remnants of fabric and ribbon!

You need 6 squares of fabric, 12cm x 12cm (about 4 1/2 inches)
Try to use different textures and colours to make it interesting for baby, but fabric that complements each other.
Scraps of ribbon, for 'tags'
3 jingley bells (or you could make shaker ones instead)
toy stuffing or similar.

Sew up the cube inside out, leaving one side unsewn - don't forget to sew in ribbon randomly on edges.

Turn cube ride side out, hiding seams inside. Stuff with wadding/stuffing and hide three bells or the shaker in the middle.

On the last edge, fold fabric in on itself and hand sew with clear cotton to hide the stitches etc.

voila!
