1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you do with unsuitable handmade presents? on: July 07, 2012 07:04:23 PM
I  like everyone else say find a way to repurposed it . I like to say  the things of our past are the treasures of our futures. Just look on etsy and ebay or any where on the net. This was done with love just for you .if it was me id use it to snuggle by my fire but that's me. Think .it could be applique on a quilt with other memory fabric items a throw on the chair by cutting it up one side and binding it off. do a search for re purposing cloths and you can find thousand of ideas
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: paper drinking straws on: July 07, 2012 06:56:58 PM
thanks. i have played with a heavy stock paper and rolled it and using non toxic white glue i glued it to stay after rolling it. then i melted par. wax and dipped the paper in it and let dry. worked pretty well after clipping ends even.looked better with no wax so i used that method
i am not using these straws to drink just for props in photos.i didn't want to buy a lot just for props

thanks for taking the time to answer. Smiley
