1  Re: Lets See Pics of Tattoos You Designed! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Becreddick on: July 18, 2012 10:17:28 PM
I have 3 tattoo's, all done in the last 3 months.

I semi designed 2 and one was designed by the apprentice at the tattoo shop I go to, and I made changes to it.

this one was fully designed by me, it is on the back of my leg

there is a few things I want changed to it, I want the ribbon to be a darker purple, and also would like it to loop through the locket.

this one is on my forearm, I have a whole board on pinterest dedicated to crowns, I just love them. So I designed this crown, the tattooist made a few little changes. It annoys me when people ask me why I got a crown... I mean if I got a butterfly would they ask me if it has a meaning?

And not sure if this one is allowed, but this one was designed and tattoo'd by the amazing apprentice at the tattoo shop I use, I made a few small chages to it, but I JUST LOVE IT! it is my favorite one :-) I am getting her to design a matching teapot for the other foot.

sorry about the poor quality photos, I only have a phone camera at the moment.

3  Splice Skirt in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by Becreddick on: July 08, 2012 10:48:31 PM
I made this skirt on friday Smiley I am in love with it. Sorry about the poor photo but I keep forgetting to get a daylight one.

It is 3 layers of fabric sewn together, then "quilted" in straight lines. once all the lines have been sewn in, you then cut through the first two peices of fabric, inbetween the sewn lines! If that makes any sense :-) I did a class here in Perth with a lovely lady named Jody, to learn this technique :-)

I used a plain green poly cotton, Navy lace and 100% cotton fabric (Memento in Midnight by Amy Butler)

this skirt really isnt a cheap skirt as it has 6 meters of fabric in it, but if you found some cheap fabrics it would become a lot more budget friendly :-) This is the first time I have put in a zip as well!

This is a new design I have been working on, both are from my own pattern :-)

I just love making these, they make great presents, and dont take too long to make at all.

I have a huge market coming up in August and am thinking of making up some Mummy/Daughter sets :-)

I Just love the pillow case dress, its such an easy design!

I shirred around the waist of this dress and added some lace to the bottom, I think it turned out well! :-)

I also have a tutorial on my blog  - http://www.millyandmummy.blogspot.com.au/2011/12/sewing-bee-and-pillow-case-dress.html

7  Christmas Dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Becreddick on: June 13, 2012 07:38:41 PM
Hello, Im a new craftster, but have been running my own ittle childrens wear business for awhile now :-) Im on a break from it at the moment, as Im back at work full time, and just dont have the time to sew anymore (except for myself)
Anyway I would love to show off some of my cute designs :-)

This little dress was whipped up one afternoon after church, we were going to carols by candelight that night and I wanted something cute for my little miss to wear! I had this gorgeous Tanya Wheelan fabric sitting in my stash and I knew it would be perfect for a christmas dress :-) I used a Lily Bird Studio Pattern that I down loaded.

She got her face painted like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer :-)
