1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / help finding a pattern similar to this dress on: March 31, 2017 05:27:00 PM
https://www.jjshouse.com/A-Line-Princess-Sweetheart-Asymmetrical-Organza-Prom-Dress-With-Beading-Cascading-Ruffles-018014995-g14995
I really want this dress, but they don't offer exactly the color I want and are unwilling to add sleeves. I was thinking about making it myself, but I would like to start with a pattern if possible. Does anyone know of one similar?

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / estimating yarn amounts for graphghan? on: March 05, 2009 10:28:36 AM
Hello! Smiley
I  was wondering if anyone knew how to estimate how much of each color yarn you would need for a graphghan? Or if you know a site that says how that'd be great too.
thanks
Mary

I crocheted this puppet from a pattern I bought online. My sister is into puppetry so I thought it would make a nice gift.  Grin
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / visor beanie on: February 09, 2009 10:37:34 AM
Hello Just made this hat for my bil yesterday. I'm working on my list of gifts for the year already. Seems like its going to be a long couple of months to get it all done but I started early enough this time.  I'm pregnant and due in May so I want to get everything done by then (if I can)!

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Cthulhu! on: February 09, 2009 10:36:45 AM
I made this little crocheted Cthulhu from a pattern I got on ravelry. I think I'm addicted to that site, it just makes finding patterns so convenient!
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / hand drawn valentine on: January 20, 2009 11:34:44 AM
This is a valentine I made for my husband for this upcoming Valentine's day. It's him and me (pregnant, in case you're wondering about the belly) in a heart shaped tree.  Tongue

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Floral Fantasy Pullover on: January 19, 2009 04:16:35 PM
Ok, I tried making this floral fantasy pullover, free pattern from lion brand. I used a different yarn (moda dea dream in leaf) and couldn't get the gauge right so I just added more arch stitch rows to make it longer. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with it. The moda dea dream is very soft and feels good to wear. Clickable image.

This is a painting I did for my BIL for Present Getting Day. Done from his favorite photo of their beagle, Cooper.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / turnberry cardigan question on: December 20, 2008 09:57:40 AM
Hello I am making my first cardigan, the pattern is at this url : http://www.naturallycaron.com/projec...rnberry_1.html

I have a question about the sleeves, it increases then says to do rows 3 and 4 again instead of repeating the previous row that has the longer chain. Do I really do rows 3 and 4 again or did they intend for me to repeat it with the longer chain even though it doesn't say that?
Thanks for any help!
