If you cut the cross out of fabric you could sew it on with a zigzag stitch.  Or you could do an iron-on - you can make your own with a printer and iron-on paper.

Hi Eva Stars

I also have an old laptop that i hope to turn into a picture frame by taking out the screen.  Thinking maybe mount it on the wall for a little table (some plexiglass over it to make it level over the keys) or flatten it out, not sure if that is possible, to hang it on the wall so it is flush with a pic in it.  Just an idea.

Sounds good to me - I just might try that once I have resin.

26  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: How do I get the glue off of tin cans? on: July 29, 2004 07:16:38 PM
Vinegar is very good for getting the stickey from pricetags off of things. Not sure if it will work for the glue on cans, worth a shot though.

You may be able to get some flag pins for free at a tourist information center or a place like that.

28  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Question about using microwave for crafts *and* for cooking on: July 26, 2004 08:15:08 AM

I cannot say for certain that using your microwave for crafts isn't a good idea but I believe you are on the right track.  There are a lot of websites against the use of microwaves for even food cooking.  If you want to make candles the easiest way to melt the wax is to use a can in a pot of hot water on the stove (like a double boiler).  Also you can do the vinyls in the oven on low heat.  THis way you won't have to worry about harming your mic.  Microwaves hold smells very well too - mine usually smells like popcorn Smiley

Hope this Helps!

I get it and I love it!  How large are you thinking of making them?   I really like pillows and have been acting lumpy on the couch so perhaps this will get me going again Smiley

Super Idea!
