1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Painted Keyboard! on: April 06, 2005 07:41:19 AM
Okey, here's a thought - When you take the keys off to paint, stick them in a sheet of styrofoam in the same arrangement that they are on the keyboard.  THen you will know where they go back easier.   ALso,  you could paint a part of a picture on each key and when you popped them back into place, it would create the large picture.

Have FUn!

Thumbelina!  My friend and I have talked about making "sarcastic" cards too!  There is definitely a market for this.

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: cool ways to wrap an ipod on: January 31, 2005 06:26:52 PM
You could also hollow out another book to put the ipod in, wrap them up with ribbon or a belt like the olden days Smiley

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Resizing a pea coat on: January 30, 2005 06:18:24 PM

I have 2 coats I received from my Grandmother, one is pea coat, the other, an older faux suede barn jacket.  They both need to be resized down about 2 sizes.  I am a size 8 and they fit like a 12.  Any suggestions for resizing would be appreciated.

Nope, you're right Zephren, they don't melt very well in the microwave.  They melted in some spots and not in others.  I am still working on getting these the right shape too (There's a pub crawl coming up in a few weeks and I would love to take a few with me). I am going to try them in the oven next - haven't given up yet.  Love the lifesavers decorations too!!

If you think you'd like to eat the candy snowflakes, you might want to try these Stained Glass cookies aka. Windowpane cookies.  They have been a hit when I made them and jolly ranchers would make them even yummier.

Have Fun!

Let the airing of grievances begin!

I love Festivus!  Don't forget my favorite part, the airing of grievances.  Maybe you copuld also include a card with a donation to the Human Fund that they can pass along to someone else!

LOL - I love the Human Fund donation card idea!  Definitely in the Seinfeld spirit!
