I thought it might be fun to start a Year of the Dog-Along. Any dog pattern would be okay. I've been going through my stack of patterns and quickly made this one to get started. This dog is based on one of my favorite knitting dog characters Gromit. I used a basic pattern from Crochet World Specials Autumn 1992. The chair is from the Kitty Couches pattern from the Needlecraft Shop.
I just finished the Simply Shawl from the free pattern on the Caron Simply Soft yarn label.I made it narrower than the pattern and slightly longer. I used 2 ½ skeins of victorian rose.
A Blonde and a Vette... She was made from an old Summer 2002 Interweave Knits pattern. The only changes I made were to add more facial features and to make the socks and shoes part of the icord legs.
I just finished Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton's Klaralund. A fast and easy knit. Love the Noro colors but I would definitely make a larger size next time. This one is snug. Joining the sleeves to the body was tricky for me but I guess I can live with the results.
I just finished my first Knitted Babe from Claire Garland's book. Is anyone on Craftster making these? Here's her official site. There is a blogger knitalong but I'd like to see some Craftster's babes here.
