21  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / DORMANT: Year of the Dog-Along on: February 06, 2006 10:01:18 AM
I thought it might be fun to start a Year of the Dog-Along. Any dog pattern would be okay. I've been going through my stack of patterns and quickly made this one to get started. This dog is based on one of my favorite knitting dog characters Gromit. I used a basic pattern from Crochet World Specials Autumn 1992. The chair is from the Kitty Couches pattern from the Needlecraft Shop.
22  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Caron's Simply Shawl on: December 21, 2005 08:48:31 AM
I just finished the Simply Shawl from the free pattern on the Caron Simply Soft yarn label.I made it narrower than the pattern and slightly longer. I used 2 skeins of victorian rose.
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Frilly Wrap from Creative Knitting Mag. on: December 21, 2005 08:44:48 AM
This was from the Sept. 05 issue of Creative Knitting. I'm finally getting around to finishing all of my '05 projects.
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Superman Tote on: November 16, 2005 11:23:53 AM
This was made just because I like all things Superman. I knit this using the superman emblem and knitpro.
25  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Ark Tote Bag on: November 11, 2005 10:08:18 PM
I just finished the Ark Tote Bag. I'm hoping to fill it with amigurumi animals.

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarns. It was fun to make but has an involved assembly.
26  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My New Best Friend Doll on: October 20, 2005 05:01:22 PM
A Blonde and a Vette...

She was made from an old Summer 2002 Interweave Knits pattern. The only changes I made were to add more facial features and to make the socks and shoes part of the icord legs.
27  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Klaralund on: October 12, 2005 10:07:35 AM

I just finished Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton's Klaralund. A fast and easy knit. Love the Noro colors but I would definitely make a larger size next time. This one is snug. Joining the sleeves to the body was tricky for me but I guess I can live with the results.
28  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Knitted Babes knitalong on: September 17, 2005 09:51:51 AM
I just finished my first Knitted Babe from Claire Garland's book. Is anyone on Craftster making these? Here's her official site. There is a blogger knitalong but I'd like to see some Craftster's babes here.

Anyone want to join me here?
