Oh no!  I was so excited about what I decided to make for cmarion I did not go back and check her size requirements and it is 12" tall!

I finally found the right epoxy, and cmarions is setting (2 failures! I can't believe it)...but I just checked her q, and I am right on the cusp of her request for smaller than 10".  Hummmmm. Let me give this some thought. It IS 3D, though! (they both are)

Very pretty.
I never thought of doing journal pages on historical figures.  That's a good idea!

I've learned this lesson the hard way more than once too.  Now I used waxed paper to cover my work before I lay something on it to flatten it.

NEVER put your ATCs between two copies of Entertainment Weekly, sandwiched between dozens of heavy hardcover books, to dry.  My cards stuck to the magazine and the colors from the Maybelline ad transferred to the front of my cards when I peeled them off (i.e., the white marks on the woman's chin and eye).  Fortunately, I was able to color/paint over those marks and salvage my three ATCs.  Then, because I studiously ignore all lessons that life tries to teach me, I dried the re-sealed cards again, this time between two lined sheets of notebook paper, and, you guessed it, the red/blue lines transferred onto my cards too and I had to fix them again.  In the past, I've always put blank white paper (to absorb moisture from the drying glue) around my cards before placing them between the books, and never had any problems, so, were I a wise person, I would have just continued to do that and saved myself a lot of work and grief, but, I am not a wise man.

Hahaha!
Yes. I have LOTs more.  Wink

So much more.
I should probably be embarrassed.

Wow! You outdid yourself with all of this junky goodness. This is amazing! You must have had ephemera for days at your house. Do you have any left?

I made a junk journal for Witchhippie in the Secret Santa in July swap.
Junk journals are one of my favorite things to make!

Instead of making signatures which Im not so great at, I used Happy Planner discs. This way pages can easily be moved or added.

I made these collages on my phone using PS Express app so they might not show the pics very well.  if anyone wants to see a pages more closely I can upload it individually.

wow, just great work!

I am 85% done with cmarion's piece.  The finish did not work as I expected so I am going to have to rethink it but I have a couple of ideas.

And I am pretty set on what I am making for JC.  Just haven't started yet!

Suzanne Stryk is an artist featured at William King Museum of Art in Abington, VA (too far for me to go this w/e).  BUT she actually has the pieces featured on her website and are SO FREAKING INSPIRING!

I completely forgot to come and post pics from 2 of my secret Santas!

The first one.
I wonder who it could be? Smiley I was really excited to have my own hand painted snowman/bear ornament

She made me these very cute potholders/hotpads. Too pretty to use! I may just have to hang them up instead.

Paint brushes in a built in palette. Always useful.

And ephemera and extras:

Those hedgehogs!  Omg so cute.
