Y'all are going to be jealous because I got the best package from craftADDchick!

That has not one, not two, but THREE layers to insert hooks in.  This will hold lots of hooks!

And a matching little square pouch to hold stitch markers.  I love the shape

yarn bonbons!

And the cutest thing ever!!!  a kitty amigurimi!!!  This is adorable.

A digital row counter.  I can't wait to try this

hooks in sizes I use most

And a crochet calendar!  Very cool.

Thanks so much craftADDchick - This was an awesome package.

7  Poppy Hoopla in Needlework: Completed Projects by geekgirl1000100 on: December 13, 2017 10:54:24 AM
I made this for dharma_rebel in the 12 days of Christmas swap.  I knew she liked poppies so I found a clipart of a poppy, enlarged it and used it as a rough guideline for my poppy shape.
It is almost all satin stitch.  It used about 5-6 skeins of embroidery thread.
The center is black felt with straight stitches to hold it down and then the same in yellow for the very center.

(the creepy face in the background is the cover of a boardgame.  I didn't realize it was there until I uploaded the photo!)

I made this for lindyv in the 12 days of Christmas swap.  I've been trying to improve my embroidery.  I saw this (or something similar) on her pinterest and decided to try it.  It includes satin stitch, french knots, back stitch

I received my package from witchhippie.  It was a really great package.  I love all the texture and colors she used and the presentation was really nice.  I need to work on my presentation (well honestly, my package I made had no presentation!)

The front of the envelope:

The back

cute little card with cuter envelope

Misc. extras: papers, clips, washi tapes, and an origami star her son made Smiley

gelli prints, halloween stickers and a Happy Mail envelope,
Plus a second decorated envelope (lower right corner) that was inside the main envelope!

The contents of the Happy Mail envelope!  My very own carved Happy Mail stamps!

The smaller decorated envelope was full of the prettiest little pockets.
This pocket had some cute ephemera and a tag

Another pocket with ephemera:

Aother pocket - this one is my favorite - wait til you see the next pic

The background of the pocket - Witchhippie, how did you do that flowered background?  Is it like decorated tissue paper mod podged onto bookprint? It's very pretty.

Witchhippie started it off with a couple of decorated pages

All the stuff

The prettiest little altered notebook

The inside cover

Witchhippie started it off with a couple of decorated pages:

Thanks so much witchhippie!
