11  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / carpet stains! on: August 24, 2006 01:26:21 PM
rawr. hey guys,

recently i was stenciling a shirt for a swap partner and i have a bad habit of doing everything in my room. so as i was putting on the red fabric paint, my arm hit the fabric paint bottle, it fell, and now i have a red splotch of red paint on my beige carpet.  Sad

and last night i was decorating a card for another swap partner with caligraphy ink and somehow my sister walked pass, knocked the bottle over and i have a line of black ink on my beige carpet too!

i got some of the red paint and black ink off by scrubbing with water but anyone know any good stain remover products for carpets?! my parents are having a house warming party soon (we just moved in) and they dotn know about this yet!!! ahhh Sad

sometimes it sucks being crafty   -_-;;;

i got most of it out by scrubbin with tissue paper and water, but it's still noticebly red. do you guys know any fabric paint remover products that i can get in canada?
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my first book bag yay[!] on: April 11, 2006 06:02:23 PM
sorry its not the best, but im really proud of it becuase it actually functions the way its supposed to.. haha!
and i have a question:
so to make it all neat and tidy, i hemmed all the ends then sewed the 2 hemmed ends together for each side, but by the time i was done, i hemed it over and over so much that it was bulky and wouldnt fit under the machine. (and i used thick fabric so it would hold all my heavy books) so how do you guys do it?  Huh

oh, and i made a nano case bcuz i just bought one one sunday and its already brutally scratched up, i was desperate for a case..  hehe
