1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / House bunny on: July 08, 2014 11:00:30 AM
Recently my dad gave my two boys a pet rabbit. I've had a rabbit before, but that was  years ago and she wasn't a house pet. So here I am.
I have a cage for her, the necessities and a few extras. We went and got her a pet carrier cause my 6 year old son LOVES to take her with him everywhere he can.  I've bought her treats and a few toys that are 'rabbit' approved, which she has quickly torn apart.
Not a problem, except these things are kind of pricey. For example, 5$ for a small ball that she'll have apart within a day or two. The pet carrier itself was close to 40$. I can't afford to get her a brand new toy every single day.

I've looked all over the internet and a few books, and with the limited amount of time that I have to spend online all the information tends to get overwhelming. So my question is: do any of you have any suggestions or advice to give me so that I can make toys, treats, better housing for our bunny. I don't want her just sitting in a cage like a lump. I know that I ramble so my apologies.

Oh, and I was wondering if the trees and exercise equipment that is designed for cats would be okay for a rabbit?

Here's a pic of my son and our Mr. Carrot! (Yes, Mr. Carrot - my son likes the name. The lady at the pet store tried to tell him it's a female and Mr. was masculine; he listened to her politely then shut her down by informing her that it was 'HIS' buddy - rambling! Sorry thought it was kinda cute)
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Baby scarf on: December 05, 2013 12:57:15 PM
For Christmas I decided to crochet my cousin's newborn son a scarf. I didn't have a big enough crochet hook, so I used size 17 knitting needles.  This is the first knitting project that I've actually finished, so if it's wonky that's probably why.

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Holy Crap, I actually finished something I started?! on: December 25, 2012 07:05:01 PM
I love to crochet, I love leg warmer's, and I have discovered that I love ravelry!
I found a cute and very simple leg warmer pattern on ravelry and decided to have a go at it.
Anyways here is a link to the pattern that I used (If I'm not supposed to post links to other site, I apologize)

I used a Red Heart multi-colored pastel yarn for these babies. Very comfy, works up quick and I get tons of compliments!!
Enjoy  Cheesy

Oh, and Happy Holidays everyone

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Africa cross stitch on: June 19, 2009 08:44:37 PM
Well this took several months to complete. Mainly because I put it down and didn't touch it for a LONG time. Not the best, but I'm proud of it!

Now I just need to find a suitable frame, I was thinking an oval embroidery hoop........
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Pencil skirt on: August 25, 2008 10:59:02 PM
Okay this is my first time posting something that I made, so bear with me please.
I've adjusted the skirt a few times, but I still can't seem to get the sides to not bulge out so much. Before I finish it, I was hoping that someone would be able to give me some tips or advice. Thanks!

PS excuse the sweats....its late

6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / St. Ives on: August 18, 2005 04:18:28 PM
It seems that whenever I use the facial scrubs by St. Ives my skin gets irritated and I end up having more blemishes than I did before. This never happens when I use their other products though. I have a few of the apricot scrubs and this other facial cleanser. I was just curious if this happens to anyone else.
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / friends birthday on: July 30, 2005 08:38:39 PM
Okay my friends birthday is coming up in October and I wanted to get a jump start on her gift. I was thinking maybe make an olive shaped pillow (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=42126.0 got th e idea from here), since she is a bartender. The only ideas that I am coming up with are pillows, recipe cards, martini glass candles, ect....

If anyone could help me that would be awesome, especially if someone could help me put together an olive pillow!!

Oh yea, she also likes Matt Dillion
