21  large candystripers messenger bag in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by PlayItGeorge on: February 19, 2006 01:44:58 PM

It's very big, definetly big enough to use as a bookbag.  And the good part is it used up my leftover Fairly Easy Fair Isle yarn.

ETA a bigger picture.  Maybe *now* I'll get some FO love.  Sheesh.

22  My design: World Champs in Knitting: Completed Projects by PlayItGeorge on: January 08, 2006 03:21:31 PM

It's my first draft of my own design, intended to look like the 1982 White Sox jerseys.  I've got a little fixing to do on it, I want to change the "x" and I also plan on adding some stitches under the armpit so that it's a baggier fit.  I used the guidelines from www.woolworks.org to make it. I hope you like it!

23  Re: Anyone want to make Knitty's Broadstreet Mittens with me? in Knitalongs by PlayItGeorge on: January 05, 2006 06:08:12 PM
Mind you they're on their second winter, and worn daily during the cold months, so they're not all shiny and new!

I got my stuff!!  I love it all!!

Beatles handpainted hangers, yellow submarine magnets, a belt (If you can't make it out, it says "she's not a girl who misses much"), and a George notebook!

The belt fits perfectly btw Smiley.  Thanks wasabipeasrule!!

Oh goody I am glad you like it.  This was my first swap so I was nervous.  Here are some pics of what I sent wasabipeasrule.  Of course I was a moron and forgot to photograph the other things before I sent.

The Sg. Pepper's mug.  I saw that wasabipeasrule posted she loved coffee once so I thought this was appropriate.  I got a mug that had an insert that you could change the picture in, and I cut out these things for it.

Ringo box:  I am really happy with the pictures I was able to get for the box.  It was my first attempt at decopauge ever, so sadly I did have a few bumps I tried my best to even out.  I hope it survived the mailing process intact!

And the other two...you will have to wait for her!

27  Re: Boobholder/Minisweater (link to free pattern!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by PlayItGeorge on: October 10, 2005 07:04:07 AM

Done!  What a fast knit.  And it helped me decrease my stash, and gave me something to wear over my "wedding dress" (the dress I wear every time I'm invited to a wedding).
