42  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: how to make candy last????? please help!! on: October 05, 2005 04:13:29 PM
The only thing I can think of is to keep it in a cool dark dry place, not the freezer, it will get freezer burn. Make sure it is packaged well, if you have a vacum sealer, that would be best. Another thing is check out oriental trading co. they have tons of cool halloween candy, and it may be available year round, im not sure.
43  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Re: concrete table and benches on: October 05, 2005 04:11:16 PM
Theres also curved tiles you could put around the corners so you dont keep killing yourself on them.
Glass mosaic would be really cool with images underneath. I know you can get sea glass in craft stores, or even different colored glass peices used for stained glass. I would imagine itd work the same as tile mosaics.

Other than that, most online stores require A) a HUGE order B) tax id
which can be annoying if your only looking for say 20-50 at a time.
46  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Gauges on: October 04, 2005 04:57:26 PM
DONT USE SCULPY!!!! Its a chemical. Dont use acrylic either. Its a chemical. You dont want chemicals in your ears, your ears can grow into them (especially because they are pourous). Rocks, wood, crystal, most things organic are fine. Wood plugs are quite simple to make, but require a lot of sanding time. If you would like instructions, pm me.

Look for kids type bracelets or necklaces, they usually have these types of beads in them. Also those beading kits they sell at toy stores.
