1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Vintage felt and sequin ornaments and stockings on: August 22, 2006 10:47:16 AM
Hi all,

DH's Step-dad has these gorgeous felt and sequined ornaments and stockings that his mother made. I'm guessing by the looks that they're from the 50's or 60's. Since they won't part with them, and I can't have them, I want to make some. But I'm at a loss. Any ideas or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning Ladies,

Ok, so here's the deal. I WANT THIS BLAZER! And as much as I love Ms. Stefani, there's no way I'm paying $465 for it. So here's the pics, now I need ideas on where to start. Smiley HELP! Thanks!

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Make-up brush rolls on: October 19, 2005 11:31:54 AM
Hi All. I belong to a make-up web site, and a girl made these brush rolls (below) and is selling them. I was wondering if anyone might have an idea for, or an exsisting pattern for a brush roll? Would love to make these for Xmas gifts. Thanks!

6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / David Bowie/Aladdin Sane Halloween costume help on: September 01, 2005 01:54:29 PM
Hi all! Ok, so my father-in-laws birthday is on Halloween and every year the in-laws have a HUGE blow out party. Well, this year, I was thinking of going as David Bowie from the Aladdin Sane days. You know, the short red hair, which I have, minus the mullet thank goodness, the make-up lightening bolt over the eye, etc. However! I have NO IDEA what clothing I should wear! Any help with ideas and pics would be great. Thanks so much in advance!

8  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Make-up "beauty sleep" transfers on: July 29, 2005 04:56:59 PM
Hi all,

Are the make-up transfers (compact, lipstick, mascara etc.) only available in the stitch it kit? I am pretty sure that the sweets (cupcake, candy) are oly available with the transfer paper.

Jenny.... release these on the website so we can buy them.  Grin

Thanks in advance!

Here's pics from my Day of the Dead wedding. The girls LOVED the hankies!

Smiley Enjoy!

Our invitations. Custom art by www.brianewing.com

Our favors... CD's with skeleton lolipops.

Our cake that my SIL made. We were so sad to have to cut it!

Head table decor. Wish you could see the skull beads in the vase of crepe paper flowers! Sad

Cheezy pic of us at the head table. (At least you can see the hand made flowers here!)

More head table.

Good one of the room set up.

Just because I love this pic. <3
10  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Day of the Dead wedding hankies. on: April 27, 2005 01:40:21 PM
I decided to make hankies for thank yous to all of the moms and grandmas. (I am having a Day of the Dead themed wedding on May 22, 2005 and was so excited to see SS's Mexicana pattern!) I really had never embroidered before I found the site, but I was so excited at how easily these turned out, that I might make 6 more before the big day! Since my fianc has requested a dude colored one, and I would like one for myself. I used the same metallic thread that was used in the embroidery of my wedding dress so that each lady can have a piece of my dress with them. Anyway, here are the 6 that Ive already done! (sorry for not great pics.)
