12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Make a wish bottlecap on: January 02, 2009 03:46:29 PM
I love it!!! I was just starting to work with resin and glaze when I got pregnant so now I think it might be unsafe. As for tooting your own horn I'm always eager to say that I made something myself, not for "taking the credit" I just feel like it opens peoples eyes on what they really can do themselves, and that not everything "cute" or "cool" needs to be store bought. Keep up the good work!

16  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / yes, I am a tampon on: November 05, 2008 08:10:01 PM
Everyone's costumes are so great I feel like I shouldn't even bother entering, but I felt like sharing anyway Grin
My husband's band played a Halloween party, that I did not plan on attending, because I didn't think we could find a sitter, but we did so I had to make a costume at the last minute using what I had on hand which was :
white sheet
red spray paint
45 minutes of time

I braided some of the sheet into a string, but it's kind of hiding between my legs

I realize it would have been better without the underclothing, but the party was mainly an outdoor party.

this pic was taken at about 2:00 am, so my costume/ hair/ makeup/me has lost some of its gusto (and sobriety)

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: The Bridge Bag - pics on: October 09, 2008 09:19:59 PM
this is fantastic. I hardly ever reply to anything, because I mostly just like looking and I'm kind of a lazy jerk, but I just had to tell you how awesome the shape of this bag is. I agree the ruggedness of the fabric contrasted with the sequins is awesome!
18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: my amazing 'Oh no it's gone pear-shaped!' dress (w piccies) on: September 28, 2008 03:39:21 PM
I love the dress, but I also love the background!!!!!!! What is it? it's fantastic. It reminds me of something form Yo Gabba Gabba.
Seriously great job on the dress though!

I'm not sure how into you want to get since you obviously know the couple, but it would make a great starting to piece to a series narrative on divorce.
