21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Swap Problems- Grrr. on: August 01, 2005 04:03:11 PM
I have been trying to get ahold of my swap orgainzer or her proxy but have not been able to - consequently, I have not gotten any feedback for my swap and can't get into another one.  Alas.  It was the tote swap that had to be sent 6/30.  Any ideas from anyone?
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Cozy wrap from Knitty on: July 26, 2005 05:06:02 PM
Anyone completed this?  It is going to take forever, but I love the lacy wrap-i-ness of it!
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / star rib poncho from interweave knits on: July 20, 2005 08:55:40 PM
I have just casted on for this poncho from the staff projects... Has anyone completed this project?  It seems straight forward, i am trying to use up some of my cotton ease on it!
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / paw print pattern? on: July 20, 2005 11:09:27 AM
I am sure there are better brains out there...  My brain isn't able to figure out how to make a paw print out of knit / purl for the end of a scarf.  I just made a nice little dish cloth that has a dog made of knits / purls... any ideas?
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / cabled wrist warmers on: July 18, 2005 07:44:50 AM
I just finished a pair-o-wrist warmers that are cabled.  My first non-hat or scarft project!  My first cables too (who knew there were easy?)  It was a fabulous free pattern and I used up some of my lion's cotton ease that I have been hoarding....

Here is the cable

Here is the warmer!
26  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / evening wrap pattern? on: July 15, 2005 04:16:49 PM
There isn't a search button right now so this could be a re-post... ignore if it is!

I want to knit a wrap for a wedding this summer to wear at the reception over a strapless dress.  Any ideas for an easy pattern?  The shawl patterns on the net are for thick yarms or a lace that my brain can't handle!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
27  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Burp Cloths on: June 28, 2005 01:34:19 PM
Would there be anyone out there who knows the typical size of burp cloths?  I am going to make some for a baby shower and have no clue what size they are (I have dogs... I know all about dogs, not babies)
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Shrug pattern website on: June 12, 2005 07:00:37 PM
I have become obsessed wtih finding the easiest pattern for knitting a shrug.  I came upon this website that had a bunch of different styles with patterns.

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / baby short sleeved shrug on: June 11, 2005 08:25:01 PM
Here is a baby short sleeved shrug I made today!  It is my first modified pattern.  I had a shirt and just made it into a shrug-ish type garmet...  It ties in the front for a sassy look.

30  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Diaper Cake Tower on: June 09, 2005 11:56:45 AM
I just made this diaper cake for my friend's baby shower.  It was so easy and reasonably priced (thanks to the dollar store and Costco for diapers).  The image is rather small... but it is 3 layers, with a letter M (for maddy!) and a puppy with a bottle brush under its head.

(my first post with a picture, can you tell?)
