11  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: superhero costume for friday on: October 29, 2006 04:43:48 AM
I was going to post the same thing - our climbing gym is having a party, but I have until Tuesday to find a costume!
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Clapotis issues - just can't get started on: October 05, 2006 05:19:53 AM
I feel your pain my dear - I started it about a hundred times and got so frustrated.  Just hang in there - when I finally got past that first bit it soared and I was done in no time.  I might even make myself another one!
13  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: One Skein Stirling Cloche NOW WITH PATTERN, pg. 6! on: July 26, 2006 05:57:41 AM
I finished it up, but how stiff is your fabric?  My hat seems rather limp, but it is the correct size.  I don't know if I should felt it more or not!  It does look like a gumdrop!

I just ordered my stirling today - I went back and forth about buying it.  I looked all over for suitable yarn subs, but loved the original so much that I just did it.  To heck with credit card bills!!!

I really consider myself totally anti-afghan, but that is simply gorgeous.  It is so beautiful.
16  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Adorable Baby Sweater on: June 08, 2006 11:14:50 AM

This is my first sweater (for human or baby) and I love it.  I just keep looking at it, saying how darn cute it is.  It is from Jil Eaton's "Minnies" (with a few changes) - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book.  I used Paton's wool and also adore the oatmealy color and natural look!
17  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Ideas for a nice veil. on: June 03, 2006 09:01:22 AM
I just tacked it along the edge - just a running stitch through the middle of the ribbon, you couldn't tell at all!
18  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Laundry Bag - pink + brown! on: May 16, 2006 06:56:29 AM
It is all straight seams, I know that you could do it!
19  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Laundry Bag - pink + brown! on: May 14, 2006 02:42:38 PM
I was requested to personalize a wal-mart laundry bag for a college bound graduate.  I couldn't bring myself to do this and so I made this "M" laundry bag.  I heart the colors and am going to use the scraps for something wonderful for myself, though the brown stripes were dizzing to sew!
