12  who loves baubles!?! I DO! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by johnarae89 on: March 05, 2007 06:03:57 PM
ok so i had a few days off from school and one of the days i became completely obsessed with my polymer clay again... i now realize why i gave up the addiction lol jk, but so here are some pendants i came up with, i have more, they're drying right now, but i'll be sure to post 'em  Wink

and these last ones are crafted with resin, the silver cirle one has micro beads in it, it's really pretty in the sun, the picture doesn't do it justice

i haven't worked with polymer clay in FOREVER! i'd love to hear what you guys think!!

::::::EDIT:::::::

these are the new ones that were "drying" lol

14  Re: how to make these type of pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by johnarae89 on: March 02, 2007 08:57:52 AM
i had a day off of school and this was buggin the crap outta me, so i decided to do some experimenting...

i just used purple and black sculpey clay, first i cut out the heart and then all the little pieces in purple and pressed 'em on, baked it, then i have this "faux mosaic tile glaze".. it's basically just glossy modge podge, i put two coats of that on and this is what i got..

19  more sketches & dumb drawings in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by johnarae89 on: February 10, 2007 05:48:13 PM
some stuff i had, most were at the school art show, sorry for the dark pics

first one is one i did a week or so ago

on black paper with metallic pencils.. didn't turn out as well i wanted it to, but it's still pretty kewl, got lots of compliments on it Smiley

on navy blue paper, i love this picture Smiley my art teacher wanted to buy it from me! baha!!

this was a beginning design for my boyfriends tattoo.. it was a little too girly for him, but i liked the lettering i did on it, so i had to share he he

my dad is obsessed with japanese culture.. he studies and practices bonsai and would  some day like to be a bonsai master in japan (big dreams young grasshoppa lol) anyways, he's wanted to get a tattoo for a long time and he wanted his darling little baby girl (me) to design it for him and we're going to get tattoos together on my 18th b-day.. so anyways, this is what i came up with.. it's a "shogun" or a warrior for the emperor i guess... the symbols on the side mean "shogun"..

comments/criticism would be way totally fantastically kewl  Grin thanks!!!
