1  spoonful of love - old spoon pendant (4 pics) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by rhodora on: September 05, 2006 11:23:51 AM
I absolutely am in love this.  Hand-cut and sanded smooth from an antique sterling silver spoon.

upon trying it on I realized that I couldn't bear to sell it.  so i made another one from its sister spoon.

I'm pretty happy with the results.  What do you guys think?  Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

2  phytoplankton can love! notecards - any marine bio nerds? in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by rhodora on: August 26, 2006 03:38:25 PM
WEeeee!  New silkscreened notecards in my little ______ can love series.  (you can see robots can love here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82983.0 )

Inspired by marine biology, this new card features ceratium tripos and ceratium furca, two of the coolest creatures ever to cause red tide.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated Cheesy

3  Alpaca Neckwarmers in pleasing colors :D in Knitting: Completed Projects by rhodora on: August 12, 2006 12:58:44 PM
My latest knitting adventure!  Knitted baby alpaca neckwarmers/scarflets in grassy meadow, dusty rose, and sweet potato.

They look amazing on guys and girls, and are sooooo warm and cozy.  I'd love some feedback, what do you guys think?

(also my younger sister's modeling debut  Wink)

4  First yarn ever! Hooray! in Spinning: Completed Projects by rhodora on: March 26, 2006 10:42:12 AM
So I got my Annie May drop spindle a few days ago from , and I am completely in love.

It's thin and not-so-thin, mostly thin.  It looks a little felted, but I don't really mind at all.  Live and learn!  I like how it came out, considering I wasn't expecting it to be that good on my first try.  I did so much research on using the drop spindle that by the time I actually received it I just picked it up and spun away.  Addiction.  I'd better get more roving before I run out of this stuff (won't take long), or I might have withdrawals.

Thanks so much for looking!  Any comments/tips would be appreciated!!
