I would love to see the finished result!! I was thinking of doing something similar for my daughter's daisy scout troop. I am also curious to see if you get a response to your question! Smiley

33  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: Mom I Want to Craft Too - Sharing your kids crafts and craft ideas for kids on: May 03, 2005 02:10:32 PM
I looove this idea. My 5 year old is little Miss Crafty- she is actually more creative than I am. She constructed this tote bag that she made from pieces of construction paper- and I was jealous of her. For just a minute, though.  Smiley I so dislike Oriental Trading- the crafts just fall apart. Something she loves to do is go the craft store where they have their wood crafts aisle, and find the cheapie dollar frames, then make them "her own". She'll glitter, sorry but not my favorite for mom-knows-why reasons, and she'll paint them, put stickers on them that go along with the theme of the 'pics. She's been doing this since she was 2- for the mommas of young'uns. Off to ballet- more later... But I love the idea of crafts for wee ones!!

Plum Party is a fun website for party goodies. I find them to be both inexpensive and unique.
Party on!!

So you put a post earring through some fabric. SOOO easy- yet I wouldn't have thought of it.
36  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / You talented folks can do this 2!!!! on: April 25, 2005 03:45:19 PM
Hey there. I am totally new to all this, but I have seen some of the things you all make, and I thought you might find it interesting to get on Ebay, and enter in item # 5384016357. Just enter in these numbers in the Search. And... click on "see sellers other items" for more!!!
Now, I am not saying that shirt is not cool, but do you see what she is getting for it?!!!
Just trying to put a fish in the pan for the talents I have seen on this site.
You, too, could do this!!!
