Those patches are terrific! Can you make potpourri sachets out of them?

What about putting a toothpick or a stirring stick (the ones you use for coffee) and put it in the glasses on the table? You can put a tag on a ribbon with their names or a quote.
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Paper Flowers? on: June 08, 2005 04:31:15 PM
There was a project on making your own cherry blossom branches out of twigs and tissue paper in the Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (i think). It didn't look like it took a lot of time to make.
4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Picture Negatives??? on: June 03, 2005 11:46:01 AM
You can make bookmarks out of them or make bows for gifts.
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Brown, Paper Lunch bags on: June 03, 2005 11:27:50 AM
I've tried the chocolate bag idea before and find that it works better with wax paper. The brown bag didn't tear off very well. How about making a lantern with the brown paper bag? You can cut different shaped holes or pierce the paper with different patterns.

How about making envelopes out of them or covering a folder with it? Covering it with contact paper will probably keep the paper from fading and tearing.

These are sooo cute! Handy size for your purse too. Did you sandwich the cardstock between two pieces of paint chips?
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Teacher gifts for the end of year gift-them-all on: June 03, 2005 10:44:18 AM
My boyfriend's sister is a teacher and brings home tons of schoolwork, so maybe a nice canvas bag with her name or initials on it? Last year a student gave her a handpainted container which she now keeps on her desk for treats on special days. I agree with SNK725 that any gift from a student would be appreciated.
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: what do you put in a camp care package? on: June 03, 2005 10:36:45 AM
Maybe include a journal, definitely postcards/stationary WITH stamps on them, and a CD with her favorite songs if she brings a CD player. A big beach towel or cool pillowcase would be fun too.

I use 3M spray mount or the xyron to glue things together. i think both hold up pretty well and haven't had any problems with the paper peeling.
