It's definitely a flower loom.  I have a couple that my husband's aunt gave me.  Once you get the hang of how to wrap the yarn around them, they're really easy to use.

This is what the flowers look like:

2  Chain link bracelet--crochet style in Crochet: Completed Projects by zitrone21 on: October 13, 2006 04:10:12 PM
My latest crochet jewelry brainstorm creation: interconnected chain of crocheted cotton loops.

Pretty colors--kind of washed out though.  My Photoshop skills are less than nonexistent.

And the blurry action shot complete with scrawny wrist and watch tan line

Comments always make me happy . . .

Thanks for the compliments.  I shouldn't get so excited, because it seems like everytime I do, that particular item just sits in  my shop until it expires, but I really like this.

Unfortunately, the only shots I took on my wrist came out a bit blurry, but it'll give you an idea.  My wrists are really scrawny, so the bracelet's not overwhelming.  Each loop is about an inch across.

(Pardon my watch tan.  I almost never take it off!)

I had a brainstorm a night or two ago, and after a couple false starts, I finally have something new to post in my shop.  Well, I already posted it, but it's the first new thing I've made in at least a month . . .

A crocheted chain link bracelet.  A bracelet I would actually wear!

5  Red Tiger Rosette Earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by zitrone21 on: August 28, 2006 04:09:57 PM
I made these earrings over the weekend  but the sun refuses to come out so I can take good pictures.  I think they're really cute considering they're nothing but fabric and buttons, but I'm not always such a good judge of something's more universal appeal . . .

Comments, questions, welcomed.

It's been dark and grey here for three days now.  Figures--sunny and 80 all summer when I do nothing.  Now that I finally made what I think are the cutest earrings, the sun goes adios and I have to scan this picture.  I don't want to list it in my shop until I can take better outdoor photos (photoshop and I do not get along so well and I can't get the colors to look quite right), but I'd like some feedback on these.  For some reason they make me really happy, but maybe I'm the only one . . .

It's been rainy and icky here for two days, but there was finally sun today to take pictures of some projects that have been piling up to list in the ole' shoperoo.  (I think the sun may have fried my brain  Tongue)

The dreamcatchers are smaller than the previous ones I've made: about 7/8" across vs. 1.25".  The pendant in the back is gathered and glued around a flat-backed marble to give it some weight.  It's about 1.5" across on a skinny black ribbon.

8  Elegant Dreamcatcher-y Crocheted Earrings--Now with more pics! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by zitrone21 on: April 11, 2006 07:25:20 AM
This is my new favoritest earring pattern that I've come up with.  What do you think?

I've been in sort of a crafter's block lately and haven't posted anything in a while, so thought I'd share. Smiley

(and of course they're for sale; link in sig below.  The 3rd pair will be listed soon.  Y'know, just in case you're so inclined)

These are a couple new pairs I've made in the last week.  They're only 7/8" of an inch across vs 1.25" for the ones above.

After kind of a long spell of crafter's block (born mostly out of frustration over not selling anything) I've recently been crocheting up a storm--which, believe me, is hard to do with tiny steel crochet hooks  Tongue

Anywho, this style of earrings started with a custom order, but I made a pair for myself because I liked them so much, then decided to try a few more for the shop.  This is the first one I've listed, but I've got two more pairs to spread out over the next couple days.

What do you all think?

Eeeee!  Your pink elephant can be buddies with my pink elephant.  He's so cute.  I love him.  Or her.
