Can't do bird feeders due to grackles!!
Nasty birds!
They will over run your property and you can't get rid of them unless you cut all your trees down just about.

Ok I have been lurking her long enough it is now time to post at least one of the crafty things I did.

I got this ugly beat up chair out of someones trash because I knew it had potentil.
I got hubby's race car paint out and went to spraying it, then I got out my trusty acrylics and this is what I ended up with...

Oh and that is also my raised flower bed hubby made me out of recycled boxcar flooring as is my walk way too.
Then I have the broken metal chair that makes a great trellis for my rose...
And then my forever cactus hubby dug out of a pile of junk.
It marks my peony so he won't "accidently" mow it down.
And I am forever finding these wonderful metal buckets that peopl throw out just because the bottom rust out of them
I stick them in my yard and plant flowers in them.
Here is my lemon balm.
And my tomato plant
And the last goody I have to share is my HUGE cauldron.
Since it has no feet and WAY to massive to hang it from anything( it has 50 pounds of rock and 450 pounds of soil in it! ) We had to come up with something for it to sit up on.
End result an old tractor tire!
I now have mint and thyme planted on the tire in hopes it will cover it up.
Plus a lot of my plants are even recycled from my grandparents garden.
Thanks for looking.

165  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Advice needed on sewing machines on: May 05, 2005 08:02:42 AM
I have  a EuroPro machine and I love it!!
It is one of the few machines that has all metal gears in the motor.
Well actuallit is all metal for the motor.
Brother and Singer I know use plastic gears that break very easily.
And mine can sew thru 8 layers of denim with the right needle!!!
What more could I ask for?
