243  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Funky Hair on: May 07, 2005 09:43:26 PM
This is how my hair looks when I blow dry it and don't wash it for like 5-6 days. (I only wash my hair two to one times a week because then my scalp gets dry and itchy and my hair gets even FRIZZIER.)

OH this is how my hair looks when I let it dry naturally except a little softer and looser.
244  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / I made a stencil of my face! on: May 06, 2005 09:59:06 PM
I made a stencil of my face and I didn't know what to do with it. So after much thinkin' and sleepin', I decided to put it on a pillow, wallet, and purse. I'm planning to paint everything blue, but my lips (which will be pink!! (i love flamingo pink Tongue) and then put pink flat sequins all over my lips and then make a felt flower to put somewhere on my head.  Cheesy <----thats on the purse. After that, i plan to make some letters out of felt and stick it somewhere. Roll Eyes hmmmm, now where else should i put my face on....undies.....shirt.....jeans.... Wink

:'(Sorry, I'lll post pics like in a day.   ::)hopefully Tongue
245  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Wide eyed cat and Pinky Cutie bunnie -IMAGE HEAVY- on: May 05, 2005 09:53:32 PM
In my high school they offer sewing class and I was lucky to get in it Grin. so anyways, one of our assingment was to make stuffed animals. I made a cat and a bunny. The bunny looks better because I took my time on it.the cat looks messed up and surprised though.
Here they are:

I had to use left over Christmas ribbons.

Some buttons I found in a hurry. They don't even match (one's glossy and the others not), but they were both about the same size so they had to do.

This ribbon was for a skirt i was making but never finished.

I liked the bunny WAY better then the posessed cat (tha'ts wat it looks like), but I'm going to fix the cat since all white (tie-dye maybe Huh)

247  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / This might be a dumb question, but what is silk screening? on: April 30, 2005 10:11:25 PM

248  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Funky Hair on: April 21, 2005 03:22:20 PM
My hair is super annoying. It's really curly, long, sooo frizzy, and it has sooooo many split ends. When i blow dry it and stuff though it gets nice and silky. When I wet it and let it dry, it's like a curly afro do (think of that girl in the show "Girlfriend"). What can I do about it Huh because summer's coming and I want to do so many nice things with my hair, but I cant? Oh, by the way, my mom is on this "natural strike" Grin where she won't give me any money to put junk in my hair and I've never put any kind of chemicals in it and dont plan to.   Embarrassed
249  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Glass Marble Magnets on: April 14, 2005 12:51:42 PM
You can coat the top with etching paint to give it a frosty look, but you have to have strong, bright colors on the flat side. Also, when my and my sis did these, we had accidently gotten the irridescent ones and found out after a couple of trial and errors that strong colors like orange, blue, and red work fine on them. We also painted directly on them (on the flat side) and glued them onto white paper once dry so that they'll show better. Smiley Hope I gave you some good tips and suggestions. Sorry no pics, new here and i don't know how to put up pictures.
