This is a blend of dyed merino, natural grey alpaca, natural wool and dyed orange mohair, plied with gold thread

Natural Lincoln cross wool with silver thread

This one is a pink Merino, aqua Scottish black face, grey Leicester X blend (sorry crappy pic)

2  Vintage Beaded Bonnet my own version (my first post) in Crochet: Completed Projects by sonam on: November 24, 2009 06:03:32 PM
I found this free Vintage pattern online and have been wanting to try it.  After alot of doing and undoing (i'm bad with reading patterns) I finally finished it (read 3am crochet binge) and tried an experiment with beads which I have never used before.  This is my first post of my own stuff, let me know what you think.

this is my first yarn i just finished.  It was natural white Border Leicester wool which i dyed with a mix of strawberry starfruit and kiwi strawberry kool aid.  I spun it up on a Navajo style spindle i built out a long dowel and some CDs.
