Oo! Good call. No, you're right, I'm in Canada, but I never thought of checking out the Dollar Store for this kind of thing. Thanks, I'll definitely do that when I have a chance  Grin
2  CANADA / Alberta / Seeking Assorted Boxed Cards on: August 31, 2012 12:12:35 PM
Hey everybody, I'm looking for unwanted cards with no particular theme... you know those ones that you can buy from like Hallmark in boxes and they'd have a variety to choose from. Well, I know you haven't used them up, if it weren't for the move I would've asked me mum but I'm wondering if anybody has any to give away, singular or plural, or know where a low-income "kid" can get them for super cheap?

Alright, because I don't want to raid the Sally-Anne and other thrift stores just yet, I'm going to send out a nice message to you awesome folks.

I'm looking for either well-used, barely used (as long as it's in decent shape) graphic shirts. I'm in a crafting mood and need as many as you're willing to give out.

I will post a pic once I have successfully accomplished my project(s).

I live Downtown, either pick-up or delivery.
Need additional information? Please feel free to contact me here or here @ taintedvampyre@gmail.com

Thanks everybody  Grin
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Postcard craft on: May 24, 2012 12:07:42 PM
HELLO!!

Okay, I've got this fantastic idea however, I need your help, if you choose to accept, in order for this to work because I want it to be super unique and fantastic! (Yes, I will post pictures of the final project to show that I'm not a complete creeper) *nervous yet?* DON'T BE!!  Wink

To make this craft super unique is with unique postcards. Yup, I said it right- postcards! Here's the deal:
If I was to buy them here, I'd have lame, barely used postcards that basically went from out of box to craft, not what I want. I want postcards that have been beautified with your favorite quote, or poem and have traveled through the "airstream" of the postal system coming from coast to coast over sea and shining sea. (I know I'm being hysterical) but I'd like your help in accomplishing this very lovely idea!!

Are you interested?

If so, please send me a quick message saying so and I'll reply with a mailing address. I right, who'd a thunk snailmail still existed Tongue
Please, please, please help me out with the biggest project I've ever attempted!

Thank you so much ahead!!  Grin
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Converting Boring Hall Into Sewing "Room"; ideas? on: January 18, 2012 10:15:59 AM
Hi everybody!
I'm super duper excited as I'm finally able to convert the one part of my apartment into a small sewing spot. I just need a little help in making sure that it's minimal and that I have all the essential items and where I might be able to get these things for a little cheaper since I'm still just starting out and am on a slight budget.
Included are pictures of my very small space and maybe this will help you help me.
I appreciate and will consider any and all suggestions.
I start shopping tomorrow!  Cheesy

The width of the wall is: 2ft 11in/ 88.9cm

Thanks to anybody and everybody for some advice.

Hello,
this is a fantastic design and I was just wondering what your dimensions were, or seemed most convenient, for this project.
I have a friend due in April and (if she doesn't already) have a diaper bag I was thinking of making her one and yours is just lovely.
Thanks and all the best,
Tainted
