121  The poseable Red Panda Doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: October 26, 2012 07:21:32 AM
I made this red panda art doll in a Zoo Animal swap. I was working on trying to make it ball-jointed but after one failed attempt I realized i didn't have enough time. So I re-sculpted it for a little movement. This is my first time really sculpting anything but i think i did a good job. What do you think? Cheesy

Close up of the face

He's about six inches tall, is made of polymer clay and is held together with strong elastic.

Lol. A little tail shot.

122  Magic Stained Glass Kaleidoscope! in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: October 19, 2012 11:02:52 AM
I made this Kaleidoscope in a class. It really pleases me. The circle of marbles and glass at the end spins so you get different views. I think it's really magical.

Here is a picture of the view:

I know of a website that has a kit for it and instructions if anyone wants it.

123  Gnome And Mushrooms Stained Glass Lamp in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: October 19, 2012 10:55:12 AM
This was my first stained glass project. I wanted to make something in my own design and I wanted something useful and unique. There are definitely some imperfections but I'm proud of it.

Here it is in its place in my room.

Sorry for the bit of mess in the pictures. Maybe I'll get better ones later?

Anyway, thanks for looking!

125  Funky Giraffe Drawstring Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by The Raging Sloth on: October 19, 2012 07:10:25 AM
I made this Drawstring bag for a Zoo Animals swap. It's got a kind of funky design but I thought it looked cute and I wanted something unique.
.
When I found the Giraffe fabric in the store I held it up in awe like it was the holy grail. Lol.

I recieved my swap package from Professional Pineapple yesterday!!! I love everything. Thank you so much, Professional Pineapple!

Here are the goodies!:

An Amigurumi Manatee. HOW CUTE.

There was also a beautiful Tapir hoop!

Look at the wonderful crewelwork! I wonder if this is Professional pineapple's personal design? It's so cool. Here's a (blurry) picture of it on my small hoop wall:

and the Pièce de résistance?! An crochet Pangolin backpack!!!!

Look at the fun crochet scales! Here's a picture of the inside. It's really well made. I love that it's fabric inside because that will help it keep it's shape!

Here's an action shot:

Again, thanks a lot, Professional Pineapple!

128  Victorian Style Doll Clothes in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: July 24, 2012 08:12:30 PM
I wasn't finding the style of clothes I wanted for my GORGEOUS custom repainted Monster High Doll (made by http://kayke.deviantart.com/ ) So I decided to make some! I decided I wanted a short Victorian kind of style that wouldn't look too bright (since she's a ghost. lol) I've never really made any clothes from scratch besides a very strange skirt and I've definitely never made doll clothes. I started off with the skirt which was sort of easy to figure out with the pleats but making a body conscious Corset-Type-Thing was sort of hard. I eventually figured out my own sort of pattern with some experimenting. Everything was hand-sewn without any patterns besides my own made ones. I hope you like it and I hope I inspire others to make some pretty Monster High custom clothes... so maybe we can make them for each other? hehe!

Thanks for looking!

129  Pug in a Hat Box in Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: July 13, 2012 08:16:01 PM

I do not have a pug... and I am mostly a big-dog kind of person... but I can't resist looking at them! They are so funny and weirdly cute! And one day... I stumbled across a collection of pictures of pugs in ridiculous hats! I decided they must be put to use.

Notice the glitter and the dancing hamster stickers. Fancy, huh?

(thank you all respective owners for the images I put on the box... If it is expected I post thanks to the correct owners I will.)

130  Robot Riding and Elephant Hooplah in Needlework: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: April 15, 2012 05:01:02 PM
I made this hooplah for my partner in the "anything goes needlework swap" and my partner received so I thought I would post it since I'm so proud and it's my second hoop!

The story is that the robot felt compassion for the animals in the zoo and let the all free. He went riding out of the city and into the night on an elephant's back. I just made it up. I hope you like it!
