1  Sequin and glitter pastel goth Resin Pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by The Raging Sloth on: October 16, 2019 01:09:21 PM
Lol they seem "pastel goth" to me... they all have sequins with mermaids, unicorns, stars, moons, planets, or suns. They're made with regular resin vs. the UV resin I was using before.

2  Dollar Tree Jackolanterns in Halloween Decor and Parties by The Raging Sloth on: October 08, 2019 10:31:36 PM
These are all made from dollar tree items. The pumpkins are tradional foam dollar tree pumpkins that I carved, painted,  "corpsed" and added Dollar Tree lights to. I used dollar tree candle sticks painted black for the black base.

3  Telltale Heart Mobile in Halloween Decor and Parties by The Raging Sloth on: October 07, 2019 08:57:09 PM
I am DECORATING  for HALLOWEEN!!!! and I got this dollar store bird and then I got an idea to make it into a The Telltale Heart mobile.  So I made some milky cataract eyeballs out of some wooden beads and hot glue and I put the bird on a piece of driftwood then I made a little "Nevermore" bunting.

5  Rainbow Triangle? in Needlework: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: October 01, 2019 08:39:02 AM
I made this for craftylittlemonkey in the rainbow swap.  She said she wanted something similar to some fiber art bracelets I've made but for hanging on the wall.  Well... here's what i came up with. Lol! I put this in needlework since the focal points are mostly embroidered? At first I wasn't so sure about it since its a pretty bizarre work but people seem to like it.

The rickrack hangings are vintage from my great grandma "Punchy"s stash that I inherited as well as some of the ribbon and lace. The packaging crumbled to pieces as I opened the lace. It's probably from the fifties. Lol

Also, check out the piece CLM made for me as well as check out all the rainbow goodies in the swap gallery!

7  Nature Curiosities Resin Pendants and Earings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by The Raging Sloth on: September 30, 2019 11:20:04 PM
I ordered some UV resin because i'm impatient and I put some of my favorite found nature presents in these crystal shapes. I hit a few snags but all-in-all it went well enough.  I have things like lichen, a tiny blue jay feather, birch bark, cicada wings, a dragon fly wing, and a shell from the lake preserved in there. Hopefully these pieces will keep me a little cheerier in the harsh winters we have here in minnesota...

9  Re: Make Me A Rainbow swap GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by The Raging Sloth on: September 30, 2019 10:09:32 PM
I received from craftylittlemonkey today and it was an EXPERIENCE, guys. CLM mostly invited me to this swap because she wanted to give me a selection of knicknacks for crafting with as an extra. She absolutely STUFFED this box. It was a very hot and humid day and dog walking was unpleasant and I also was kinda ill so this was such a good thing for me to come home to.

Here's what it looked like when I opened it

The crafted item is this gorgeous tin with this amazing anatomical female figure expertly embroidered with a pretty fringe of rainbow colors.  There's lots of fun stuff to look at like this wire jumble with beads and the interesting felt cut-outs.

And here's some of the other fun stuff in the box,  some of which i've already used!
tiiiiny people!
what is dis?

So much crazy stuff! Craftylittlemonkey is such a kind and lovely person and it was really lovely of her to think of me and was very patient with me. She's extremely talented and I'm so happy to have another art piece of hers! This box of goodies has really inspired me. Smiley thanks so much, CLM! <3<3

10  Save the Rainforest! in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by The Raging Sloth on: August 31, 2019 02:22:23 PM
My friend is hosting a save the rainforest fundraiser event with some of my favorite bands and she asked gor donations for the raffle.  I said I would do something and naturally decided to do a rainforest inspired piece.  My favorite Amazon Rainforest animals are Capybaras and Sloths so its a sloth riding a rainbow capybara. Its a multimedia piece on a backwards canvas. I hope qhoever gets it will like it!
