I received from blupaison yesterday but forgot to look in the mailbox until today. So I opened it at work. XD It's a really cool curious little scene I think made out of a lightbulb and real bones.

I am amazed you managed to get that little skelly figure in the lightbulb, Blupaison! What bones are these of?

I received from Acadian Driftwood last night!

It's the monster book of monsters from Harry Potter! It's a fuzzy and has some great teeth and felted eyes I think! It's also a real book inside although you can't open it. Thanks so much!

5  Sergeant Pepper John Lennon (with a beard lol) in Halloween Costumes by The Raging Sloth on: November 03, 2015 09:34:12 AM
I made a Sergeant Pepper costume of John Lennon from the Beatles for my boyfriend for Halloween this year. It was VERY last minute. I made it and my sloth costume (you can see more of that here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=441373.0) within two days while I also went to work for 8 hours both days.

I made the shirt by finding a green men's button-up at a thrift store. I took off the pocket and all of the buttons. I cut the collar to be rounded and then I braided a bunch of orange yarn to make the things that go across his chest (what are those things? lol) and added buttons on the ends. I sewed trim to the bottom and made epaulets out of cardboard. I bought fabric that perfectly matched the shirt and sewed around the epaulets and added trim. Then I found a pair of my dad's pants and made a quick pattern from them. I added some elastic in the back (My boyfriend's skinnier than my dad + I wasn't going to make a fly) and there we have the full effect.

Here's me in it just for fun (wearing the backup glasses) as soon as I finished it:

Everyone said I looked like Elton John not John Lennon.  Cheesy It was too big for my obviously. Good thing it was for my Bo and not me.

Thanks for looking!

6  I'm a Sloth!!!!!!!! in Halloween Costumes by The Raging Sloth on: November 03, 2015 09:02:46 AM
Last minute about two days before a Halloween party I decided on creating my boyfriend and I costumes. I made him a Sergeant Pepper John Lennon and I made myself a Sloth Costume. My entry is my Sloth Costume but a lot of my pictures have Sergeant pepper in them. So please Regard my Sloth Costume for the Contest. Smiley

I'm trying to do my best sloth face.

I made a short vest with a hood out of fun fur and I even lined it. Then I made long gloves with only three fingers (since it's a three-toed sloth) with the fingers made of regular white cotton and the rest of the glove made of fun fur.

I found a grey long-sleeved shirt and leggings and then painted my face; Tadah!

Thanks for looking! I hope you like it!

7  Teeny Anubis! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by The Raging Sloth on: October 09, 2015 08:05:24 AM
I made this li'l guy for Sarasmile in the September dotee swap. Hand sewn (as always... at least usually)  and embroidered. These pictures did not come out good, I admit but I really love the dotee.

Right here you can kinda see it's more 3D aspects...

Thanks for looking!

8  Vintage-y Halloween Fabric Bunting in Halloween Decor and Parties by The Raging Sloth on: October 09, 2015 07:48:43 AM

This was my first time making bunting and I sewed it by hand. I didn't exactly know what I was doing but it still turned out alright, I think.

Thanks for looking!

It's a super awesome Medusa dotee!! She's so fun! I love the little faux leather (snake skin?) type details and the face and the yarn hair! It's great! Thank you, Sarasmile!

10  Smell My Feet Wreath and Wall Hanging in Halloween Decor and Parties by The Raging Sloth on: October 01, 2015 01:21:35 PM

I made this wreath from dollar store materials as a very quick craft during a sort of craft/halloween party I had.

I also made this more expensive wall-hanging that they had instructions for on the Michael's website.

If you want to make the wall hanging here's the link:
