1  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Should I Start Again? on: June 30, 2017 12:28:01 AM
So...I got a new sewing machine today and decided to work on my first quilt in progress with it. However, I didn't realize a couple of things...

1. The default position on this machine is left...no center
2. There's a scant 1/4'' and regular 1/4 seam markings on the throat plate...I used the wrong one

Now my strip blocks are a bit two small...I'm doing the Jelly Roll Jam Quilt from the Fat Quarter Shop...but I cut my strips from fat quarters and yardage. It's a blanket for a new mom...so guys should i start all over from scratch? I think I was just so excited to open the box and get started I didn't even bother to read the manual. I'm 50% finished with piecing my blocks together.
