12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / old makeup containers = new cakes! on: May 02, 2005 07:41:15 PM
I've always wanted to do something with all the little lotion jars I've collected.  They are just too useful to throw away, so i thought i could make them cute...

If you haven't yet checked it out, you should!!!  These little pouches are from the book  Omiyage by Kumiko Sudo

I love it so much! Cheesy

15  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Feltlings and covered photo albums on: April 11, 2005 09:19:47 PM
Feltlings...so cute, so time consuming, but ultimately worth it!!!

Here's my little sanrio mouseling

the teapot duo

and mr. snail

l
last but not least, here are a couple felt covered photo albums i've just made:

I am interested in selling these and other felt creations, but have no clue how to price them! Any ideas?
Sorry for the 90 angle on the teapots!!
16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Fabric Flower Pins on: April 11, 2005 09:09:15 PM
Here's what I did with some of my fabric swatches from www.javisdavis.com
(I can stand to waste, so I must craft!)

They are just simple flower outlines, gathered a bit in the middle, and stitched together with some beads in the center.  I also added some coordinating ribbons to the back ... Thank you Burda magazine for the great idea!!

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Purple Paisley Clutch (Amy Butler pattern) on: April 11, 2005 09:02:29 PM
Ok, I know there is another post using this pattern, but i didn't want to intrude upon any personal space, so here's mine....

It was too hard to photograph the inside, but it's basically just a satiny patterned navy fabric.  Velcro keeps the closure secure, and I added a big broach for some interest

Let me know what you think, please!  I am considering selling similar clutch bags, so I would appreciate any feedback about pricing, or anything Wink
18  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Bright Pink buttony lace wrap thing on: April 11, 2005 08:52:26 PM
I found this pattern in an old knitting book by Barbara Aytes...I used some plain old baby weight yarn and some size 7 circulars, added some bright buttons, and...ta da!

19  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Envelope Clutch, my own pattern! on: April 11, 2005 08:49:14 PM
I had this skein of Bernat Ping-Pong laying around, and although I am not usually a fan of novelty yarns, I decided to do something fun with it... A purse of course!

Nothing too special, just regular ss kniting, plus some fabric and very stiff interfacing, and topped off with a big snap Smiley

I'd also really appreciate any pricing suggestions, as I am trying to sell this at a Craft fest on Saturday
