31  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Gingerbread man ornaments on: December 17, 2005 08:29:46 PM
I made a set of these for my boyfriend's parents for christmas. They're made of polymer clay,and they were really easy. I just pressed out the clay and cut it with cookie cutters, then added the decorations. Here they are modeled by my bulliten board, sorry about the picture, my camera was about to die so i couldn't use the flash.

I had my favorite pair of jeans sitting in my basement for months waiting to be crafted, so finally, they have a new life. Actually, they have two (if you use your imagination  Wink) Meet Gene and Jeanette, the blue jean couple.

Gene: his hair is frayed blue jean fuzz!

I'm very happy with this baby blanket, i made it for my sister's baby who is due in march. I got the pattern here http://www.sewonfire.com/round_ripple_afghan.htm but used caron simply soft and an h hook instead. It took one skein of each color, and it measures 36 inches from point to point.

I also made a hat and booties  Grin

homecomming was yesterday, and this year i decided to make my homecomming dress. i used the simplicity pattern 4399, (and help from my mom,) and added spaghetti straps instead of a halter.

here are two scarves i finished, quite a while ago, but i finally got pics. the stitches for them came from the crochet stitch bible. the white one is the sultan stitch, and the green/blue one is the arcade stitch.

i found the patterns in a book at the library called sewing tiny toys. theyre really easy and cute!

i used the lionbrand hooded baby blanket to make this for my boyfriend's god-daughters first birthday. you cant really see in the pic, but theres three flowers along the edge of the hood.

I found old some sheets at a rummage sale this weekend for a quarter, and decided to try making a circle skirt like the ones i've seen here. This one was more of a practice one, but it turned out pretty well.

I found this old peter pan record at a rummage sale last weekend, and i decided it would make a really cute clock. I took the hands off an old clock (easier said than done... Undecided) and put them onto the record. Here's how it turned out:
