Those magnets are totally awesome!!

Here are a couple pics of what I sent to mundy.

Mundy said she loves Skeletor so I thought that she would really enjoy  him as  wall art.   This piece went through a couple transformations as shipping was a nightmare until I decided to make him into a puzzle.   He is inside the box tote in the bottom pic.   Mundy also told me that due to where she lives, shopping bags/totes are always in need so I made her 3 from canvas, lined them with a cotton print and painted some of her favorite characters on the front.  The middle one is from Moondreamers and she does glow in the dark.

I haven't posted in a while due to being busy with swap and with work as we are short staffed and working 12-14 hour days seems to be my new norm.
Anyway, here are the pics from my 80's Cartoon Swap as my partner has received.

This is a rather large puzzle that once she puts him together, he will be Skeletor in all his evilness.

These are 3 shopping totes made of canvas with hand painted characters from different cartoons.   The box tote is holding all of the pieces to the Skeletor puzzle.

This one wasn't really on my list but can be included in with my scrubs as it is for work.   I needed to be able to have something to carry an extra set and a bunch of those little extras in.   Here it is in all of its flannel funness... Grin

5  Fun Tote...Rag Style in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mommasfrogging on: January 31, 2012 08:29:44 AM
I needed a tote for work that would be big enough to carry a set of scrubs as well as all those little extras I am always finding myself needing like lotion and hand sanitizer.   I went to my stash to see what I could find and found a bunch of flannel.   After going through it all, I found that I had these 5 and decided that I could make one and be a bit fun and funky all in one shot. Grin
Anyway, here it is...

What do you think?

OK...well I hope everyone here is ready for a giggle, a chuckle or maybe even a good laugh.

This is one of those times and things that if you don't laugh, the frustration just may make you cry.  I have been working on a messenger/laptop bag for my DD's BFF (say that 5 times fast!!)   I have been encountering one issue after another with it and I decided to just bite the bullet and finish it tonight.  Oh how wrong I was to even dream it would be done tonight!!!   I know this particular bag is out to get me.   I have a theory...  One night all of my fabric got together and decided which fabrics would be the Chosen ones to deliver extreme frustration.   Here are the winners!!   As you will soon see that this is NOT a complicated bag nor should it cause me as many headaches as it has but for some reason things seem to go wrong.  In these photos you will see that I am making really simple and stupid mistakes....one right after another.

Here are the photos of Woe....

See...front looks good...right?

The side looks pretty good too...wait...what happened to the handles?   Where did they go??  I know I sewed them in there...somewhere...

Oh Look!! I have some how managed to sew this the wrong way!!   It should be inside out and it isn't!!  The handles have been swallowed by the insides of the bag too!!  Gee...try again tomorrow?!?!

I was an angel for this swap and I hope none of you mind me posting a pic of my package.

I was able to try my hand at making felt microbes for Ann.   She says she loves them, so I am thrilled at my first attempt!!  There is a Biohazard bag for all of them to be carried around in by the "Germ-Hopper" as he makes his rounds.

Ann also had owls on her list and I love making these simple little guys and sent her some to spread around, carry with her or keep in a small flock of sorts.
