1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Homemade Laundry Soap ** With Tute! ** (picture heavy) on: January 19, 2013 11:17:32 PM
Thank you one and all! I have thought about this at different times, but just haven't gotten around to try it (the powder), but I will definately try this liquid... I read through all 15 pages (at least to here) instead of going to bed *grin*...

Also, that hint about the vinegar mixed with the fabric softener is great. I usually just dilute it down with water 1:1 because it makes it last longer and you don't get that thick buildup in your automatic dispensers.

Another suggestion, instead of having to pour the vinegar out of a gallon jug I am going to buy another slimline beverage (I had to really search for the correct name of these silly things) container to put the vinegar in. I use odoban (which is eucalyptus based) for odor control and have it in one of these above my washer. Easy to dispense, out of the way and easy to use.

I am also sending this topic to my facebook!

Thanks again,

Could you let me know who this pattern is by? I would love to do one up for my sister!
