Inspired by  another project I took to a small moleskine notebook with one of my favorite Sublime Stitching designs.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Embroidered Red Converse on: October 09, 2011 12:54:47 PM
I mostly wove the ends of the thread back through my stitching. I admit I did leave a few knots in spots where it did not bother my feet.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Red Converse on: October 02, 2011 04:41:58 PM
I own a few pairs of converse and could not resist the chance to put some embroidery goodness on them. This took me several months, partly due to starting a new job and being busy. I will say that this is the most challenging embroidery medium I have encountered. A small pair of pliers helped with getting the needle in and out. Overall a very rewarding project that I would definitely do again Smiley

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you do with your extra tiddly bit floss? on: October 02, 2011 04:19:50 PM
I use one of those plastic cases divided into little squares for my supplies. I have one square devoted to floss odds and ends. Sometimes I end up using those scraps because I only need a short bit. Mostly I like looking at the swirl of colors.

I also have a piece of velcro in my supply box that I use to strip floss. I use the hook side because it grips the strands.
