What a great idea! I'm very impressed with how you altered the birds.  They are funky. I love them. There might be hope for all of the circa-1980s stuff my mother has in her craft trunk!

What a beautiful quilt! Good job on the corners in lining up the red and white bars; it looks great!

Holy Crap! I LOVE THIS!

Where did you get the fabric?

25  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Quilt Challenge #1 - China First-Aid on: January 15, 2007 09:57:05 PM
I've had such a block against quilting for the past couple of months, a small quilt challenge was just perfect to get me back in the game. Smiley

In working this, it looked to me like I had broken some very nice China dishes, and was putting them back together. It wasn't until the end that I noticed the first-aid symbol popping soo much.

It's a little longer than 10" one way, a little less the other.  121 little blocks that are about 3/4" big.

Very nicely done.  Where did you get the pattern?

Thank you, TheBon.  I had gone on Tuesday per LiveJournal's UOStitchnBitch.

Of course, timing is everything, and I seem to have missed this semester, but I'll shall be there in the New Year. I'm rather excited, (as is my husband)!!!!!

Okay, I've been here for six months now, and have yet to find a knitting group.  So, I'm ready to start one if need be. The main problem is I don't have any idea of where a good place to hold one would be.

I asked around at the yarn shop on 13th, the needlepoint shop at the market and got nothing to go off of.  I tried to go to the one that is allegedly at UO but no one was there.

Are you a member of a group already?  Do you know of a good place to have a meet? Is Eugene just not a friendly place, and I need to go back to Texas?

Those look great!

When I got the winter anthropologie catalog, I ripped out the page of ornaments and filed it in my "inspiration" box.  But you right, yours are way better!!!

Love the donut stitch!
