31  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: twenty-something bloggers? on: May 09, 2007 12:52:15 PM
I'm 22 and have a new knitting blog (it's quite boring at the moment). it's http://lemondedesheena.blogspot.com/ . I've found that knitting has actually taken off hugely among young people (somebody probably said this already but I haven't read the entire post) and I think I know of more young knitters than I do older ones!

I love everything about those socks- color, design, length... great job!

wow SUPER fabric. Sometimes JoAnns comes through on that, although rarely I find. And I think the dress looks nice and was worth the trouble!

Another simple solution would be to get a needle sizer such as this one http://www.knitpicks.com/View+Sizer_ND80306.html
That's what I use to measure my circs whose numbers have been smudged off, and since all needle sizes are standardized it doesn't matter if your needles are dpns or circs or straights. Although perhaps those numbers on the sizer are also too small to read, I don't know.

hehe I like that you "accidentally" bought this beautiful yarn. I do think the stitch pattern does it justice and I like the hat a lot! I hope it's the right temperature to wear it where you are, certainly it's too hot where I am now!

wow I LOVE this! It's such a simple but refined looking pattern I think, and it looks so nice on you!

that's a really cute and unique dress. By the way, I thought at first that the photos were stills froma movie or something- very professional looking! You look very nice in the dress, and I like your hair too in the photos Smiley
