Thank you for the stamps, they are so happy.

Sorry I forgot to rotate the image!

Those are wonderful!  Did you use a satin stitch or couch the threads?  The EGA has been offering classes on doing landscape embroidery and they are quite expensive .  Perhaps you could do a tutorial for us.  The pictures are beautiful!

Mistress Jennie the dragon egg dice bags are wonderful, I'm sure they will be well used!  This may sound crazy, because it is, but what about crocheting owl heads to sit on top of egg?  The egg is rather owl shaped to start and a hollow head could be attach on one side.  That way when you use the bag, the head will flip back and the top of the egg can be accessed.  A lot of work to design but it could be really fun!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Iron Hogwarts: Coconut
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Tropical Banana Bread
Brief Description: Coconut flakes, pineapple, and coconut milk give basic banana bread a tropical twist. I also used rum extract in place of vanilla and I highly recommend this substitution!
Project Picture:

I'm also working on my list of "to-do" projects and hopefully I will be able to post tonight or tomorrow.

Your bread sounds delicious!  I wonder if a version with shredded carrots would be worth a try?  I haven't tried baking with coconut milk.  I am worried that the coconut milk will separate and ruin what I am baking.   What about adding pistachios?

Looking forward to lots of goodies!

Research Project Name: Butterfly Chair
Team: Wordy
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: This project is a square black chair for Chair-ity.  The chair is medium sized and wood with cushions in black.  For this project I intend to embroider the chair back with a dandelion in the lower left corner and add stumpwork butterflies.  I estimate that the project will take about 50 hours and it is due April 10th.

Thanks for the support I'm going to need it!

OWL Submission
Subject: Charms
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Magic Butterfly Chair
Brief Description: A square black chair to be decorated for the Chair-ity.  The back of the chair will be embroidered with a large dandelion in the lower left corner and have stumpwork butterflies flying around it.  I plan on using charms to change a pile of fabric, wire and floss into lovely butterflies.  After the chair is finished I will use a charm to make the butterflies move.  I intend to tell muggles that the butterflies have something they call patteries to make them move.

The chair is due April 10th and I estimate it will take about 50 hours to finish.  So I will need to plan on working two hour a day because something always goes worng.

Project Name: Harry and friends
Project Page Link : N/A
Brief Description: For the AT Coins swap I found some silhouettes on line and I cut them to fit the 2.5 inch circle.  The lines to cut them out was so close that the thickness of the blade made a difference.  So I used zircon plated blades and special silhouette paper.  I purchased the silhouette three years ago and this was my first time using it. It is lovely paper but it was easy to nick the black surface.  So I won't be buying any more of the paper.  I will go back to cutting shapes out of parchment paper and then spray painting them the color I want.
