1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Nightstand redo on: April 08, 2012 03:06:24 PM
I found these kinda ugly nightstands at the goodwill... they were really cheap, but not very attractive.

I like the look of those mirrored nightstands at pier one, but they are kinda pricey, so I decided to try my hand at silver leaf... I also filled in the holes from the old hardware and bought pretty new knobs. I ran out of silver leaf before finishing the second one, so I need to make a trip to Michael's for a few more supplies Wink

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Coffee table refurb on: April 08, 2012 03:02:40 PM
I got this coffee table for free from a friend, but my taste is a bit girlier than hers, so I decided to refinish it...

Here is the after! I think I am actually going to use it as a TV stand...
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Wall Hanging on: April 08, 2012 03:00:31 PM
I got this wall hanging free from a friend when I moved to my new apartment, but it's a bit traditional for my style...

So I sanded, primed, and painted it! Here it is now, in my kitchen!
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Scary Halloween Makeup on: October 27, 2011 05:40:18 AM
This is the makeup I wore for last Halloween- I had fun getting double-takes and scaring grown men Wink I used modeling wax, compact powder in a sort of corpse-y color, fake blood, and a variety of eye shadows and eye/lip liners I already owned. I also am wearing some inexpensive spooky contacts. I was going for "animal attack victim".

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / 1930's style blouse I made on: October 25, 2011 10:55:18 AM
I finished this 1930s style blouse today, it's from a Vintage Vogue pattern, and I used some random fabric from my mystery fabric pile. I like that it is classy enough that I can wear it to work Wink Also, this is my first post! Woot!
