1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Givers & Needers Swap? Is it time for another one? on: January 01, 2016 07:36:02 PM
I need to purge several items - anyone thinking of doing or wanting to do the Givers & Needers Swap?

In case you aren't familiar with it, here is a great explanation written by kbrison (taken from an old thread):
A Givers & Needers swap is more one-sided. I would sign up as a giver, meaning that I would send someone a hefty amount of supplies (usually a medium to large box full) and, in return, I would receive a thank you note and a small crafted item from the needer. That allows a giver a good opportunity to do some de-stashing while a needer has an opportunity to build their stash without spending a fortune.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Reversible Slouch Bag on: March 26, 2015 03:48:18 PM
I had some free time and have been wanting to try this bag out from "Very Purple Person's" site. I love the way this turned out, but I am going to make the strap a tab longer on the next one. I'm a "healthy girl" and I personally like a bit more room  Grin It's a great size though for tossing everything in and I love that it was reversible!

Here is the link for the tutorial and pattern http://verypurpleperson.com/2010/04/making-reversible-bag/

It's denim on one side and a Michael miller print on the other

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A Slew of Little Girl's Necklaces on: May 24, 2014 09:09:43 PM
I used up some beads by making some little girl necklaces - excuse all the lint on the display - I didn't realize it was that bad - LOL!  Shocked

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A Quick Infinity Scarf on: March 02, 2014 07:15:29 AM
I made this infinity scarf for my sister in law for her birthday. If I knew how easy these were to whip up, I would have made them a long time ago!

Stitched these up and added some Avengers fabric for a swap partner. The embroidery design was purchased from etsy Smiley

7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / VDay Pillow Covers on: January 30, 2014 05:44:53 PM

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Pinterest Inspired Burlap Flower Wreath on: January 24, 2014 01:21:18 PM
I saw this wreath (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/5418462022086779/) on Pinterest a few months back, and loved it! So with the help of gamemom42, who made me these AWESOME burlap roses in an OWS swap, I was able to complete it. I added pearls to the roses, and then pearl accents here and there. I just love the simplicity of this wreath!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Oversized Toiletries Bag on: January 20, 2014 08:49:12 AM
I whipped this up before my trip last week - I wanted something that was cuter than a Ziploc bag to store my full size body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in when traveling. The overall bag measured 20" wide - so it fit everything that was a "wet" item :)It is lined with PUL, so it should be an easy clean up job if anything bursts!

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cowgirl Pinup lunch Tote on: January 09, 2014 02:53:48 PM
Made this lunch tote for a swap partner who loves gowboys and 50's pin-up. I have been holding on to this particular piece of fabric FOREVER and now I know why!

The lunch tote is insulated using insulbrite and is lined with white PUL

Thanks for looking!
