Yeah it could be that she's zonked, or it could be that she's kind of a bitch (come on, someone had to say it).  However, that is the cutest thing I have ever seen and that baby is going to looooove it.  I still have handmade things I was given as a kid, they're more special.

I don't know if this sounds kind of trite, but the fact that you did this shows what a kind-hearted person you are.  It hurts when you try to be nice and someone doesn't reciprocate, but in a lot of ways her reaction isn't important.  You've done something good and kind.  Be proud of yourself, its rare that someone is willing to put themselves out there and be willing to be kind.  Its much easier to be ignore the world or be unkind.

I feel totally overwhelmed by what I received. Its all so wonderful.

I will post tonight when the cat I am looking after goes to sleep.  She is a kitten and keeps trying to play with or steal the earrings.
