21  Re: Scrappy Happy Swap -GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: May 10, 2015 09:26:40 AM
I received from edelc this week and I am sorry I forgot to post photos right away! I was really spoiled on this swap by my amazing partner!

I got a Yoga Mat Bag! Which I needed to badly! The zipper on mine had broken and it wasn't usable. This came just in time and is big enough not only for my mat, but towel too! (I do Bikram, hot yoga and this hangs perfectly in the changing room! And holds everything!

I also received beautiful covered buttons, a journal cover (and it fits my comp books perfectly!), an awesome scrappy pouch (which i put my keys and wallet in while I'm at yoga), and a mug rug that is bigger than any other I have and perfect for my little cup of tea or coffee and my afternoon cookie!

Thank you so very much for my awesome stuff! It's all been put to use already! I have some fun I am still stitching up for you! I will be sending on the send out date unless some how I get a couple extra hours earlier in the week!

am sorry it took a couple of days to post once I received but this past week was by far the craziest week of my life! We had a health scare (luckily everything is fine) and we were celebrating out 5th anniversary ... bad timing for a scare .... But I received the coolest groot dotee! I really hope mine gets to you soon! I am thinking you are going to really like it! Groot is by far my favorite comic character! I am so happy you went with him!

24  Re: Journal Cover Swap (Send Out, March 16) in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: March 26, 2015 07:07:50 PM
This is the awesome cover that Wendiek made for me! I love Mermaids and she went off of that and the ocean theme and made this amazing cover!

The little shells on the front are from near her home and the little feather on the back is from one of her lovebirds! Little does she know that before my parents adopted me, they had love birds! My mom couldn't have children of her own and neither could their lovebirds... It really means a lot to have that feather!

Also I love the beach and am actually deathly afraid of the water. My goal was to go to the beach more often since we live 15 minutes from it! I always take a notebook to brainstorm crafts in and this is the perfect size! Also I will have no problem being able to find another European size for it!

It's just so perfect! Thank You Wendie!

25  Re: 4 x 6 Art Swap February 2015 in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: February 25, 2015 09:12:58 PM
I received today from BigBangMomma! It was a super cute Kitty 4x6! Little does she know my daughter loves kitty cats! I so allergic we can't get a real one but her stuffed ones goes everywhere! She used materials to make it work as a mug rug but with the bead hanger she had put on it... It is now a welcome sign to my 4 year olds room! We love it thank you!

26  Star Wars Valentine's T-Shirt in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by CraftyMamaBee on: February 11, 2015 09:43:02 AM
My 4 year old just got to see the original Star Wars for the first time and fell in LOVE with it! Everything is "Star Wars this" or "Star Wars that". We are so excited she shares our love for the films but the only thing is there isn't enough girl stuff in it... At least not by us in clothing. She is getting Yoda Valentine's we found on Pinterest and I decided she needed a shirt! So for her class party I made this Vader themed Valentine's Day shirt!
Ok so I found a picture of Vader and uploaded it to my Cricut in the Design Space web based app. Then I found a balloon image and attached it to the Vader outline and cut it out on card stock. Which I then put onto HeatnBond and attached to this black Valentine's fabric I found in my stash!

(I ended up using black thread for the blanket stitch based on the advise of a friend, which I'm glad I listened to!)
I also used the Cricut to cut out the wording on to iron on material as well.
First I attached Vader and used the blanket stitch on my Singer with black thread to reinforce Vader and ironed on the wording. I decided to put the day and year on the back by the neck because well I didn't want to wasted the left over pink!

She was so excited! She told me it was "fabulous"! But considering she is 4, I just hope she doesn't change her mind about wearing it before the party!

Here is a shot of her Valentines that I found from celesterockwood-jones.typepad.com. With glowsticks for the lightsabers!

27  Re: Sweet and Easy Valentines Gallery Round 4 in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: February 10, 2015 04:51:37 PM
I received a totally awesome package from sweety28303! So many really cool things!

The painted mason jar is so great! It's already got a candle and is in my craft room/living room! I have wanted one of those forever!

The pin cushion small mason jar was perfect for my sewing pins! As you can see it has already been put to good use! Now I won't worry about my 1 year old finding pins on the floor!

And even though it was over 70 here today I am even modeling my new crocheted hat which I might have to fight my daughters for!

Half the candy is probably already gone and the mailbox with all the stickers my 4 year old is in love with! I am sure I will be finding foam heart stickers for the next year in mysterious places!

I love the Kirby coaster and the little heart. My 4 year old took the heart to be a coaster for her baby dolls cup.

Thank you so much! I love it all! I couldn't have asked for a better partner! A

Oh and the crochet bordered hoop is hanging up already too. It was the perfect add on to our holiday decorations!

28  Re: Sweet and Easy Valentines Day Swap Round 4 (signups Jan20-25; sendouts Feb5) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by CraftyMamaBee on: February 02, 2015 03:42:20 PM

Well I SENT mine!!!! I can't wait for my partner to receive!!!! I usually get nervous about my partner liking something I've made and well I am pretty sure I did good this time! I tried to really spoil her and think I might have done good!!! I finished up a bit of hand stitching and went straight to the Post!!! This was so fun! AND I even was able to make one last minute additional item! Grin Grin Grin Grin
Just be careful when opening.... There is something near the top and I would hate for it to accidentally get cut!

Well I made some progress yesterday! But I did learn that what I planned is going to take longer than I thought! I am hoping to make some major progress while my little is in preschool today and with nothing going on tomorrow be able to finish up! The send out date is the day before my mini's 1st birthday and I still have some crafting and organizing for that!

But I do have a teaser shot of something I've been working on over my morning coffee today!

30  Thirty-One Inspired Onesies! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by CraftyMamaBee on: January 27, 2015 10:21:06 AM
So I have a good friend who sells Thirty-One.... Because in todays world who doesn't know someone that sells it?! Am I right?! Well my friend was surprised when she found out about her 4th Baby Girl last year and when she was born just a couple weeks ago my friend asked if she could give me some old fabric swatches to decorate a few onesies for the new baby! (My girl friend ins a Director in Thirty-One)

So here is what I made! I used my Cricut to cut out 31 and the Heart and I also used my Cricut Explore to make an Iron on of the Thirty-One logo for a third onesie!

Here is a shot of the Fabric Swatches and Stencil. i used Heat n Bond on the back and then stitched around it on the onesie that wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be since knit gives...

I know this is kind of short and simple but I made it while I was in the middle of a 2 week virus/flu bug.... Turning on my machine was hard enough! But for the beginning of the year I figured it was a good start of my crafting for 2015!
