11  Beaded Button Ring Tutorial Link-Updated now with button shank instructions in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: March 02, 2012 08:27:50 PM
I have seen buttons glued to ring shanks and wanted to figure out away to make my own version of a button ring with beads. I played around for hours to come up with this design.
In my videos I am going to start coloring both ends of my string two different colors. So it is easier to understand what beads I pick up or what beads I am going through. Thank you Crazydoc for this color coded string end idea hopefully it will be more helpful for everyone. Tutorial link below

Materials Needed:
3ft. of 8lb. test fishing line or 4ft. of 6lb. test Fireline will work even better
4-4mm round beads
6-3mm round beads
11mm four holed round button
11/0 seedbeads I used two colors

It is important to stay as close as possible to a 11mm four holed round button because it will deform the design 10mm or 12mm should be fine also.
This ring is done with a rivoli shank button. To find out how to do it with a shank button go to buttom of page.

The ring on the left was my experimental ring.

This is what the back of the rings looks like they are so comfortable.

13  Re: Puffy Beaded Heart Ring Tutorial in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: February 21, 2012 10:28:20 AM
This heart can be used as a pendant and here is how you do it. Watch the video up till your strings are exiting out of both sides of the bicone bead like in the picture.

Now go though the three seed beads like in the picture.

Pick up three new seed beads and go counter clock wise around and back through the old seed beads like in the picture. After that go through the bicone bead like in the picture.

Now you need to fill in all the spaces with seed beads just like I showed in the video. Make sure you keep your strings tight especially when you exit out the bottom of the heart. After you do everything that is shown in the picture below tie half hitch knots on the sides of the heart just as I did in the video.

Your heart should look like this if your strings are tight enough. All you have to do is add a bail. A jump ring will work just fine if your don't have a bail. If your not sure what to put this heart on a simple chain is all you need.

14  Puffy Beaded Heart Ring Tutorial: Updated Now with Pendant instructions Pg 2 in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: February 15, 2012 07:06:24 PM
I tried to get this tutorial done before Valentines Day but I didn't have the time to make it. I have made beaded heart pendants before and always wanted a matching ring. So I have been trying to figure out away to make a beaded heart ring. I experimented for days adding beads and taking beads away. Trying to get the perfect heart shape small enough for a ring. First I made it with 3mm bicones then decided to try different kinds of beads because I know that some of you don't have 3mm bicones. I have finally figured out away to make it and I wanted to share how I made it.
Here is the tutorial link to make this ring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDQgyN0xqHg

This bracelet tutorial matched the ring tutorial that I posted last week. The ring tutorial can be found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZQ25T-LfNw&feature=channel_video_title
I used my favorite colors to make this bracelet and now I have to make the matching ring. If you can make the ring then you can make this bracelet. If you haven't done much beading then I suggest you make the ring first. After I made the video I decided to change the lobster clasp to a toggle. I hope everyone enjoys this tutorial it took three hours to make the tutorial and eight hours to upload it to youtube. I was so impatient. Please tell me if you like the tutorial or if you made the ring or bracelet I would love to hear from you guys.

17  Beaded Ball Earrings Tutorial Link in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: January 13, 2012 07:36:34 PM
This is my newest youtube tutorial. I have been working hard on these videos so I hope you guys like them. The beaded balls are easier to make than they look. If you are new to beading it shouldn't be to hard for you. I used 3mm faux pearls in my earrings and 6 aught seedbeads in my necklace. You can experiment with different size beads. Use 6mm beads to make a pendant and smaller beads for a matching bracelet and earrings. If you have bicone crystals they would look amazing in this beaded ball. Well I think I gave enough ideas here is the link to my video/channel. Please tell me what you think.

18   Triple Wrap Ball Chain Bracelet in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: January 09, 2012 05:58:25 PM
After LimeRiot posted her amazing, "Plumbing Chain wrap bracelets." Thank you LimeRiot! I just had to try it. I didn't have leather cord so I just used what I had in my stash. I don't know the name of this cord it isn't hemp so if anyone does please tell me. As I started making it began twisting so I kept on going thinking it would stop but it didn't. I think it twisted because I didn't use leather cord. Anyways I started knotting around the ball chain and it worked.  I did use the larger ball chain in this bracelet. I am very pleased with how it turned out.

19  Beaded Bead Necklace Tutorial in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: January 02, 2012 07:18:59 PM
I love making these beaded beads. They are simple to make and don't cost much. I used a 9mm bead for my smallest beaded bead. A 12mm bead for my medium size beaded bead. A 16mm bead for my large beaded bead. You don't have to use wooden beads like I did you can use plastic or glass beads.Experiment with this design and try other different sizes too. I made a oval 15mm beaded bead with the same amount of beads as the 12mm round bead. Here is a link to my video tutorial on how to make them.

Material list:
2ft. of 10lb. or 8lb. test Fishline per bead
11/0 seedbeads
11/0 hex cut seedbeads
9mm round beads
12mm round beads or 15mm oval beads
16mm round beads

This is the same technique as the other one. In this beaded bead I just criss crossed at the seedbead. Then picked up a 11\0 on each string. Then pick up one more seedbead and criss cross again. Then string your hex cut seedbeads.

This picture shows the paths to take.

20  Button Macrame Bracelets in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: December 27, 2011 07:30:35 PM
I made four of these bracelets as Christmas presents. But sadly I only have pictures of two bracelets. I used buttons with shanks to make both of them. The black one has a metal button, magnetic beads, metal beads, and 6/0 seedbeads. I have to admit I had a hard time parting with the black one I will miss it. Cry Tell me which one you think is better.
