1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Saw it and had to try it for myself on: June 16, 2013 08:41:48 PM
I saw these Harry Potter coffee cups online, so I figured I could try to make them myself. I did two coffee cups with just Grims in them and three espresso cups.

Edit: Here is my second attempt.
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Fancy Cats on: June 16, 2013 02:17:44 PM
My husband and I are illustrating/writing a book using an idea I came up with about two years ago now: cats doing jobs. After my cat died (she was just shy of her 20th birthday) it spurred me to get this started.

Here are a few of them for the book- let me know what you guys think.

We are wanting to make the book, eventually. I have several that I need to ink and paint still (they are water colors.) I wonder if anyone who has etsy store experience can give any pointers on the best way to make prints.

So cute! I did a Totoro themed nursery too. I love the idea.
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Totoro Nursery on: June 13, 2013 09:13:04 PM
I made a Totoro nursery for my son. He was born in Nov. 2012 and I rushed to paint it all before he showed up. I sketched on the wall, then painted the Totoros (grey, white, and blue-ish grey.) I free handed the soot sprites. The first thing I made for his room was the felt/yarn garland. I found the yarn in a discarded clearance area at my local Michael's and instantly knew that it would look like the spiderwebs you see at the into of the movie. I knew it had to be Totoro for little Julien.

I have more of the pictures posted to my user gallery here. I didn't want to make it too image heavy.

thanks. Smiley

I make mice every year around holiday time as well. Have been for about 7 years now. They're cute and fun.   Smiley

I make them without nuts because of allergies, but they are still just as yummy.
