21  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:beer can cozies on: March 17, 2004 11:16:58 AM
well I bought a dog hat  pattern off ebay (omg so cute) and they are made out of fun foam and fabric, but she also included a beer cozie pattern too...what you do is take a sheet off craft foam and spray adhesive on it, then you put a cute fabic you like on it...I use logo fabric , old jeans etc. then you cut it to can size ( this way the edge doesnt fray) sew around all the edges (my machine zipped right thru it) sew a few pieces of velcro on ,then voila its done..., my husband manages an offroad racing team, so for each season i make the guys each a cooling neck tie and a beer cozie that matches, they love them esp. the cool ties...cause in vegas its one hot mother.
I want to see this dog hat pattern made out of fun foam.  Grin

Too cute!!!  Did you come up with that all on your own?  That is very creative.  I know you must've been extremely busy at Christmas.  How much do you sell them for?  Do you ship them, or just sell locally?

It comes on Friday nights around 9:00 I think.  You can find out for sure on StyleNetwork.com.
I want to make one of those tote bags too.  I want to use vinyl and put picture in between sheets of vinyl and then sew it up--I want to turn something that looks so easy into something difficult.  (just kiddin)

She is a man, or was...She was on the cover of HX magazine--which is a magazine geared towards gays/drag queen types.  I wish I would've see that episode of Conan.  Her show is GREAT!  I think she's super cool.

That's cool, but there's nothing like that cute old vintage fabric that the Garbage Collectors is made out of...
