I received today!!!! And it was perfect timing as I have had a rough week. Last Wednesday I managed to splash very hot greasy water into my eye (my good eye of course) and did you know eyeballs can blister? Anyway, for the last couple of days have been building etc and cutting wood (yes with hardly any sight).... its infected now and just got back from Urgent Care to find my package of goodies! WOOT!!!

They are absolutely beautiful and SOOO SOFT!!! Peachessunshine you did amazing! I can feel the different stitches and lots of different textures! I will definitely be able to tell which is which Cheesy and you got my pink black and white Smiley I am so grinning from ear to ear! And OMG you made EXTRAS!

I am not sure which square belongs to which from the list just yet (I really cant see well) but I think I got them all in the pics Smiley

peachessunshine if you have better pics please by all means post them! I am aiming and shooting and hoping I got it right!

Here is some Before's and After's of the new floor my son and I installed (which I blogged about EXTENSIVELY!)

Breakfast Room Before

Breakfast Room After

Living Room Before

Living Room After

The whole house is about 1750 sq. ft. of living space and I could only work on it a few days at a time. I did the measuring and laying and son did the cutting (the Dremel tool is your friend!!!)

We are now working on putting in new trim and then will paint - I know some will say that is backwards (painting AFTER a new floor) but momma had the flooring first before she got the paint Smiley Besides, all the rooms she painted first before we took out the icky carpet - got totally messed up and will have to repaint the bottom half anyway... so this works out much better.

Once I know my recipient has received her granny squares from the swap, I will post pics Smiley

That1girl - everything is cute, but I have to say I love the bags and the hats Smiley

My FIRST mug rugs. I have a feeling there will be more. Wink I did post more info on my blog (ie: where, and how long I have had the material... and how I made it).

But here they are! And GREEN! (with blues, yellows and LOTS of colours - hehe)

The back really is green - it just isn't showing right in the pictures!

and the "required" action shot Wink

You guys are definitely inspiring!!! I have been watching all week all your accomplishments which just makes me itch to DO something too. Really everyones projects are just amazing.

Well I have started on my fabric stash and made me a half apron, which has been very needed for a while! My other one (a vintage one - what constitutes vintage??? mine is at least 30 years old  Wink ) was getting seriously see through and not doing what an apron should - keep clothes splatter free! I didn't use a pattern and just cut the fabric by looking at the old apron. I did need my new one longer tho, and I like my ties longer also, to go from the front all the way around the back to the front again as I cannot get my left arm behind me anymore. Anyway, all in all I am pleased with it.

I left my camera at moms, so had to use a camera phone, download that to one computer and then transfer to my computer! haha otherwise there would be more pics Wink I have also posted it to my blog, so my kids can see it too.
