1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Ever wear through your jeans at the inside thigh? (Unflattering pix inside) on: September 06, 2006 02:11:04 PM
Maybe if you think you could bear it next time, cut the jeans apart? you could use them for a pattern for a new pair of jeans or even pants of another fabric. if you love the jeans and have a hard time finding that particular fit anywhere else, you could make a whole bunch of pants in that style. you do have to sacrifice that particular pair, though.

I like to keep a little from the wax-papered pan for myself and eat it while it's still warm and melty. delicious

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: International Paper & Ephemera Swap Gallery on: May 05, 2006 10:00:37 AM
I received mine today!!! Here it is! I'm so excited!

AWESOME PAPER! There are camels, Russian dolls, birds on a power line, buttons, flowers, stars, japanese fans, mushrooms, frogs, everything!

A close up of some of my favorites!

More paper! Adorable little cartoons, vintage Santa Claus coasters, ribbon, and sign language stickers!

A close up of the smaller things - some yarn, tiny cards, little keys and hearts, a book opening knob, and other things I'm sure I'll find uses for Cheesy

Thank you so much taped_on_wings!
5  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Horribly picky vegetarian on: May 04, 2006 08:11:31 PM
You can still have pizza! And pb& j, salads, stir fry, veggie burgers/hot dogs/chicken nuggets, soups (lentil or vegetable), spaghetti and garlic bread, baked potatoes with lots of toppings, apples, granola, bean burritos, baked beans, grilled cheese sandwiches, kabobs, popcorn, chips, and french fries.  Just think of all the foods you DO like and all the forms it comes in, like me and potatoes: baked, scalloped and au gratin, french fries, hash browns, mashed, etc.  Also you can make some easy meals with hamburger helper - just skip the meat or throw in some ground veggie burger or TVP if you're sick of mac n cheese.  Then, I have to agree with greentea, asian food = wonderful.

I love it! So original! And your daughter has guts, much more than that policeman's son.  What a cowardly, immature thing to say.
