Thanks, fluffypants! That recipe does sound easy.

OMG, all that food look so delicious! I'd put dibs on the breads if I lived nearby. I keep telling myself that I need to learn how to make foccacia (I'm 1/4 Italian) but I never get around to it.

Love what you're doing to your yard, TJ! It's already over 90 degrees F. here, so getting out in the sun to work on my yard has no appeal even though it could really use a ton of help.

CLM, I know! My dh is just as much of an enabler. If we're going to Tulsa, he always asks me whether I want to go to JoAnns and Michael's before or after we do the other real reason for our trip. 'If' is never part of the question, just 'what order'.

Wish I could go thrift shop hopping with you, CLM. Bet we'd have a ton of fun and wouldn't we have our friendly giants shaking their heads and wondering what in the world were we going to do with our newest 'treasures'! Isn't it wonderful that we have such awesome, tolerant partners in our lives? BTW, I've managed to unintentionally make duplicate purchases of some paper tools. I suggest you clear some space 'cause I'm thinking about sending them your direction.

Gala, I will forever praise your name as an example of moral strength if you manage to only buy the black knit, but I know how seductive fabric can be. May the resistance within you be strong!

Post the food photos, Fluffypants, but if you treasure our friendships you might consider posting the recipes, too. Just saying! Sorry you didn't make the show. I've watched both the British and American versions and love them!

I've been crafting recently so thought I'd share some of what I've been up to. I bought these cross-stitch on wood kits several years ago, but never seemed motivated to make them. I've stitched on a variety of surfaces but this was my first time working on wood. I thought they turned out well enough that I wish I could find some punched wood blanks so I could create my own designs.

The two fairy gardens I made for myself. Our county fair created a new category for them last year, so I hope I can keep them healthy until this fall and enter them in competition. I have an extremely black thumb though, so I'll be holding my breath until September!

Another new Craftster-to-be! Congrats to you and her daddy! And thank you for showing her to us! Looking forward to progress pics as she grows.

I think I'm losing ground much faster than I'm making progress. Sad I went to the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Texas this past weekend. I know that I bought more paper than what I've used so far all this year and then there are all the new toys: mold putty, resin, brushes, dies, stamps, album kits, ink pads, and a ton of embellishments. If I never buy another sheet of paper, it will still take years before I can possibly use all that I already have. My name is Kathy and I am an addict.

Love the way you embellished the unicorn by giving it 'snorts'! Turned out so well. And thanks for the paper-piecing tip. I'm going to start color-coding my patterns as you suggested. I know it will make my life so much easier!

Gosh but those photos make me miss last year, CLM! Love the banners, and the cushion re-cover turned out so well. I have to laugh when I think about the Viking though. Jim and I recently had our DNA tested through Ancestry. Looks like our Scottish and Irish ancestors consorted with those pesky invading Vikings, so I guess that makes us part-Viking also. Give Rob a hug from me and warn him that I'm claiming him as a distant cousin now.
