1  Storage in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by Angleaya on: August 25, 2013 09:33:53 PM
So my grandparents bought me some storage boxes to go with the my new shelves (which they also bought) to help organize my college apartment. I wasn't a fan of the boxes, but my grandma was a fan of the cheap price: around $4 each. Since she's a crafter herself she told me to stop complaining about it and fix it. I happen to have a lot of free time at college so that's exactly what I did.

Here's what the boxes looked like when we first bought them  (from Big Lots by the way).

I am NOT a fan of zebra print nor this scribble zebra print.

For the first box I used ribbon, stickers, a black sharpie, hot glue and three ceramic hello kitty faces that I broke off old shower curtain holders.

For the second box I used ribbon, stickers, a red sharpie and hot glue of course.

And here they are on the shelf!! I'm a SLIGHT hello kitty fan if you can't tell.

3  sTRIPED eARS aND tAIL in Costumes: Completed Projects by Angleaya on: July 21, 2011 04:36:37 PM
So me and my friend went to a convention of sorts(IN CANADA) that called for ears and tails. These are her's.

They were based off this picture (please excuse the jerky lines) I drew of her character named Alouette.

And here it is in real life!

The ears are made of foam, duct tape, floral wire, furry fabric, and hot glue. They're on a head band.

4  Scar makeup in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Angleaya on: June 22, 2011 05:47:13 PM
After watching a make up video that talked about contouring I decided to try a scar. This was inspired by Andy Sixx from Black Veil Brides. I think it turned out pretty well, I just wish the 'thread' had turned out better.

It was done with two shades of concealer, red Halloween makeup, black eye liner, purple/black eyeshadow, and black mascara.

5  Cat ears in Costumes: Completed Projects by Angleaya on: June 15, 2011 05:27:52 PM
I've made 1quite a few sets of ears (for friends and myself) and this pair is a simple set of cat ears. They're attached to barettes that are hidden by the fabric so they look more...natural. I had a tail too but you can't see it in the picture.
