First out of the box were these adorable little crocheted masses of tentacles! I may have squee-ed.

Next up, some awesome magnets. I particularly like the exclamation mark above the little shark.

And the big one, a wonderful knitted squid cushion cover! So amazing!

I received yesterday from koreena!

Oatmeal raisin, apple ginger, and snickerdoodles! (There were more snickerdoodles, but my dad was over when I opened the box, and between the two of us some of them unaccountably disappeared before I could take the photo Wink ). All of them nice and chewy too. Plus cupcake/muffin papers, a handy little peeler, and some lovely recipe cards.

I made this for some friends of mine who are getting married on Saturday (finished it in plenty of time Wink ). When I was thinking on what kind of quilt to make them, I figured that since one of them loves rainbows and the other loves fractals, why not try to make a rainbow fractal quilt? This isn't exactly a fractal, but I figure it's in the spirit of one.

I posted about this one a while back asking how to quilt it. I ended up just doing straight lines on the diagonal through every third or fourth row - very plain but just what I needed for my first ever machine quilt. Don't know if you can see that in this picture, but it gives you a closer view of the fabrics used.

I finished a new project! This one's for a friend of mine who's expecting a baby any day now. She's a big fantasy fan so I opted to make a dragon quilt, with attic windows around the squares.

Close-up of some of the dragons:

I'm quite pleased with it (except for the part where the middle square's edges wouldn't line up properly with the adjacent squares  Angry ).
